Ante Kostelic was probably the most tricky and skillful of all course setters. He really wanted the BEST skiers to win the races on his courses.

I think Hirscher was pretty upset about that result. You can see how he's not so happy about his silver medal :P
BruellwuerfelTV Yeah but you have to imagine he finished 4th in GS in Vancouver, 5th in Slalom in Vancouver and 4th in GS in Sotchi already...he badly wanted this Gold and I can understand him. It was just the first impulse that you're not happy if your dream is taken away. But he got over that quickly and is on his track to become 4 times consecutive Overall World Cup winner.

@@martinpokmat2252 when was he arrogant? He was the most humble sportsman ever, never talked about himself just wanted to be fast. He congratulated all his piers always. Kristofferson mostly just disappears after a bad race. Hirscher always congratulated.
At last Hirscher won his deserved golds at Pyeongchang, so I can watch this without being angry :)
When slalom courses were still complicated and enjoyable to watch.

The Olympics are an organization that reinforces the friendship between peoples. However, the Sochi Olympics in 2014 were held in a way that fostered hostility, not fraternity. Sochi is the capital of the Circassian people. Russians committed genocide against Circassians and exiled them. Circassians showed an incredible resistance for 101 years not to give their land to the Russians. It was such a tremendous resistance that there were wars in which 700 Circassian horsemen defeated 12,000 Russian . 1,200,000 Circassians were killed in the war... 600,000-1,000,000 Circassians died in exile. After this incident, which has not been erased from the memory of the Circassian people, it is shameless to hold an Olympics in the region named Krasnaya Polyana (Red Meadow in Russian, named after the Circassian blood flowing here as the last Circassian resistance zone). Circassians will never forget their homeland. We condemn these blood Olympics that do not support brotherhood.
