i remember watching your guys’ vlogs when i was so young like 6 or 7 and always skipping over the “boring” cliche bits but now as i’m getting older they honestly bring me so much comfort. going back and rewatching older videos just to listen to you guys sorta gives me some guidance in life i’m not able to get elsewhere and i’m glad to have grown up on your videos :) happy birthday brock!!!! you guys seriously brought him up so well, wishing him the best as he keeps growing he’s already got such a bright future! (i’m barely 17 and him being 13 makes me feel so old omg😭)

When you’re young I feel like it’s so annoying to hear your parents say how quickly time goes even as I was pregnant that sentence would annoy the heck out of me. Now my daughters first birthday is in two weeks and I’ve cried every day this month. You’re absolutely right and I SO needed to hear this Colette.❤
My favorite moment from Brock's birth video was when you arrived at the hospital at night, the entrance doors were locked so you had to use the outdoor intercom to be let in. Shay went up to the intercom and just said "hi we want to come in and have a baby" 🤣
Gavin! What a blessed young man, growing up to be a strong solid human being. You can feel his energy shining through the screen and you know he is just where he is supposed to be. His gaining that force to his voice, unstoppable! This family has showed us so much, both the ups and the downs and it's just inspireing. I didn't have kids when I found this channel , I am now a 35 year old woman with plenty of little ones and I STILL enjoy these vlogs just as much as before . Thank you for sharing snippets of your life with us!

It’s crazy growing up with them too 🥺 I think I was a freshman in high school when I started watching you guys, and now I’m 25 and have my first little 3 month old baby boy. I often cry at how much he has already grown, I can’t imagine when he is grown and turning 13 or graduating high school 😢 Thank you for sharing your lives with us, I believe you guys have touched more people than you realize!

Time really does fly! I remember so clearly Colette walking around the track at the high school working out when she was super pregnant with Brock, and Shay filming her from the back, and she was of course so thin and then she turned to the side and BAM there's her pregnant belly, 9 months pregnant. Now he's 13, crazy!
Today, my sons are 25 and 22. To this day, I still remember when they were little and played with legos, played on their swingsets, and played organized baseball, etc. Time is a thief, and I so cherish those days, and I feel sad sometimes looking back. But I also cherish the fine young men that they have become now. Life is an interesting journey with multiple chapters. Time for a new chapter.

I always felt like I was growing up through these vlogs and to see Gavin out living his life is just so beautiful! His path is truly shining. I am glad to see him still enjoying his singing and I hope his time in Mexico is filled with glory & lots of light.

I have been watching since the beginning. I am a mother 45 F, of 2 boys 25 and 17. I stopped watching when the vlog stopped. I came back and started watching at a point when I am feeling the same emotions. My youngest son is graduating next year. It was hard with the first, I was not ready. Then he moved out so fast. But since prom this has been hitting hard. I like seeing you guys go thru the same thing. I am thinking of moving back to Utah from Cali. But it is killing me to leave my oldest boy, who luckily lives 1 1/2 hr away. Thank you for all the family laughs and life coping this has given me. Colette thanks for being an inspiration to us other mothers with all the same problems and stresses.

I remember the birthday vlog when he turned 4 I think it was where grandma Laurie and grandpa Carl got him a Superman figurine for his birthday and he was sooo excited he kept saying’superman’ and asking shay to throw him in the air all the time because of how excited he was that was one of my fave vlogs. Next year he’ll probably be driving 😮

I m sad my son is also 13 cried about it but happy to see him grow up God blessed us with him took a long time and pray on it we are truly blessed with him I was told I couldn't have children but God had a different plan fir us. Also I make crapes the same way but with almond flour. NY son and I are type 1 diabetics so we watch carbs. Hapoy birthday brick we love you guys

I don't know if you will ever read this but I am going to say it anyway. I am 27 years old and I've been watching since brock was a baby. I grew up in a house of alcoholics and with a narcissistic mother. I used to watch these videos as an escape into the kind of family life I wish that I had growing up. I know that things are never perfect and you guys have troubles too but you were a safe comforting escape place for me. Colette taught me how to blow my own nose through one of these videos at 18 years old. I love you all individually but Colette you hold a special place in my heart. You are the kind of mother I always wish that I had. You are the kind of mother I aspire to be. And I look up to you so much. Thank you for continuing to share your life with us❤

We have crepes a lot in the uk. One thing we do is spread it round the pan by tilting the pan in a circular motion. It stops it being too think that way ☺️
