    Hey mate your videos great the only thing with this I ask another guy first a diesel mechanic because I was scared to break he said 100% remove when engine hot NOT cold as when cold is when you have risk to break when hot the metal easier to loosen.

    • @PistonShack
      @PistonShack  3 роки тому +1

      Hey brotha! I won't try to remove glow plugs on hot engine, most likely you will strip threads out completely or damage them for sure. I will tell you from school and my experience never remove glow or spark plug on hot engine.

    Help! My Delica starts and idles well, but after a few minutes it will start missing. I have to add throttle and eventually it will run smooth after it cleans itself out. The bigger problem, even after the temp gauge is risen, if you start to drive it will flat out die after a mile or so??? It never does this in the summer. Any advise is welcome.

    How do you get to the starter motor with not much access space?

    • @PistonShack
      @PistonShack  2 роки тому +1

      Yeh, Jim! Delica is treatable vehicle to work on! There's almost no clearance but You can get to the starter from the top and underneath. Bzw, how is your starter replacement. Before you remove old starter, check / clean all wiring (ground as well) known to corrode over time.
