P.S.A: We have new confirmation as of today, that Tisah does in fact drop from Leciel! While it's not on the Featured List for the quest, it is in fact a confirmed drop from Leciel Exploration!
I did not know the importance of 1% potency until finding out they multiply off each other. Unfortunately, I have a powerful tank character with 120% potency, I really love the build, however I really want to use the new Units for my type 2 Glass cannon character who is just as Tanky. However, if she gets hit if pressing the wrong button, she just explodes. I'm happy to use the Octo Armour on my main, but they all have to be Fixa Guard 5.
Indeed, I feel a lot of people don't initially realize that the numbers are multiplicative when concerning your gearing potency. So when people realize this, it really allows them to make more sense of just how important proper gearing is & how big of a difference it can make. Fixas are a luxury, especially on units. So by all means, fixa how you deem best fits your play style in that regard to the units. While I wouldn't personally go Fixa Guard across the board, I completely understand and respect why that would be appealing for others play styles!
Even with this video i didnt plan on buying the octo variants. The extra health and pp isnt worth it. I have 145% potency with my current octo armor and still getting my last few lc augs i need. Btw for the people who dont like playing lc wait for normal attack buff and its easy to run even with randoms
guild is having me get octo cause i was running 82 pot and now 97. they were breaking down numbers for me but one broke it down to "depending on your class use the giga strugments to get octos and move up from wat you have currently. Ajax is currently out of date, BUT if your struggling keep the octos as a side project" knowing me I kno for a fact im not gonna be able to complete it anytime soon. no mes no knowledge on what to do. so i just low pot n go
You should aim for Potency at around 130% minimum. Max pot right now is like 159 or 163%. But 130% should be the minimum you want to aim for at the time of this post. KEEP in mind. That number seems high. but the potency numbers in the game are multiplicative. So it gets to a point where if you were to add a 4% potency aug to an empty slot, you would actually see it reflect as 8%+ to your total pot. This is why it's important to try to get those higher pot augs. Because it's multiplicative. Your guild/alliance was correct in trying to help you, as 82 Pot is pretty bad & will cause you to run content very slow, that should otherwise be ran fairly quickly. But you just need guidance so hopefully they're able to do that & not be toxic about it. You indeed want to aim for the Octos right now. Remember, Fixas are a luxury. It costs 50 growthment to get a non-fixa Octo from the Growthmetn shop. You can get 50 Growthments from running the current LTQ in a little over an hour, if you want to bypass Leciel Quest, which drops them at a higher number upon full boss completion/defeat. The most important thing is the augments though. The LC augments also drop from the LTQ, so try to utilize those, though Leciel drops them at a much higher rate. Rule of thumb, you don't want any augs that are under 3.0%. With Mastery IV being the one exception there if you'd like to use that. Alts Secreta IV is a Mastery IV alternative. Try to refrain from using more than one Dread Keeper IV across all of your units & weapon. Or refrain from using it at all. But rule of thumb. 3.0%+ You realistically don't want any augments that don't give at least 3.0% right now. There's a lot of options out there to meet this requirement & a lot of very cheap options, at that.
Good lawd! 80% to 155!?😲 80% was pretty low to be running for a while now. Not sure if you were doing UQs/playing with others, but if you were, you should've at least tried to boost that a little bit. Not asking you to go crazy with it or do things that were out of your means, but you should at least try to get as close as possible to somewhat average gear if you're doing content where you're playing with others. It respects both your time and others. Nonetheless though, I'm glad you finally made the jump and geared up! lol I'm happy for your achievement!
@@Spikesxu XD bruh ima be real when sega said new gear comes every 6 months I waited for right time. Making new gear everytime is expensive so I have to time it just right. Like now. Im not working on new octo that just not gonna happen. Im content with my octo I have i do not need belta or arga. Im not min-maxer for ngs if this was ff14 thats different story but for here its kinda a joke to min max with the content we have right now.
@@loomingdeath1758 If you have Octos right now there's indeed no real reason to be rushing to get the variants. That being said, please for the love of god do not ever let the potency have a 70% gap again before you next upgrade lol. I can not express how frustrating that can be when in a PUG/PUB. You don't need to be max, of course especially considering upgrading can be expensive. But 80% till only a few weeks ago is pretty wild if you were doing any content that involved others, such as UQs. 😅
