that warning light is backend oil pressure could be a pressure sensor gone or low on oil also that is a 4355 you can tell by the gearstick 4255 had the gearstick in the floor
Did you ever figure out the issue? I have a challenger mt465 which is the same tractor with different badges. And the light you showed is on on mine and it won’t move at all. I’ve checked the fluid and am looking where to go next.
Hello,we had same problem, the dealer put a new speed sensor and it fixed it,theirs also the ground wire inside the shuttle lever,we took it apart and tightened the rivet and it help
We had a 4270 10 years ago and the shuttle light and the transmission light would both come on, similar to this and loose drive. Ended up being a seal had blown in the transmission causing pressure loss. Didn’t always lose drive but had to split tractor and cost a lot to fix. Only had 2500 hrs on it. Wasn’t sad to see that tractor go.
Sounds like an electrical problem to me. That light you showed on the dash is the low transmission oil pressure warning, could just be a dodgy sensor if its an intermittent problem. Has the transmission filters been changed recently?
Hi it ended up being internal, the dealer fixed it. I’m not sure what it was it’s my dad’s tractor he dealt with them. I do know that it still beeps at him when he’s working it hard like mowing. But it doesn’t stop driving like it used to.
@@FamilyFarmingandFun thanks very much for the reply. It sounds like the exact same issue we are having. If you ever happen to find out what the issue was I would really appreciate if you could let me know. Thanks very much
@@mickeybarry1 so I just talk to my dad and he said that both of the hi and low speed sensor had to be replaced. The internal part was a seal that needed to be replaced which was nothing to do with the stopping. Hope it helps
It’s probably a sensor for the direction switch, Or the solonoid. It ca be a very easy fix. This video may help: m.ua-cam.com/video/fxmdQBJ4cI4/v-deo.html

I also have a Mt465. Did you get your issue resolved?
My light on, flash code 5+2. Checked wiring and solenoid. All seems to be OK.
Did you ever find out the problem ? What’s always the solution in fixing it ?

Yeah he changed the oil and filters. Also replaced the speed sensor. Still throwing the same fault code so we are trying another sensor. Hope it works
Hi, did you find what the issue was? I am having the same problem with a 2000 4255

,I think it's the coils under the feet in cab mate bad contact take apart clean put back together
It's a 4355 you have not a 4255. But why is the exhaust pipe in the bonnet.?
I haven’t seen a 4355 in New Zealand
