I feel SO related to what you spoke about. I'm a musician (23) and, after 5 years of therapy and personal growth, I've finally decided to start Psychology on the university. I'm also deeply interested in the philosofical implications of the psychological practice,i have been for years.
I warms my heart and gives me hope to see professionals like you, who see psychology broader and open minded (so does my therapist), yet know the core of it so well.

There are few speakers of such quality and depth on UA-cam as yourself. I appreciate your sharing of the challenges of the process of making a video. The videos on suicide helped me make sense of the recent loss of a close friend. Please just keep on doing what you do.

Thank you for that. It seems the older I get, the more self-doubt I have, but I'm trying. Time goes by quickly.

I’m currently studying CBT approach. Find it great and useful, however can agree on the fact that there are some kinds of limitations out there when it comes to attachments and avoidance. Therefore looking forward to more of your content in order to expand personal experience and to find new insights and ways of approach. Existentialism together with deep self-awareness practice (shadow work) got me out of a depression few years ago (this is what eventually brought me into studying psychology), so I’m also very interested in a related content. It’s kinda funny, because, as I checked, the videos that got me subscribed to the channel are about avoidance and Existential Therapy 😁 got that notification bell on. Keep up the good work!

I suspect many of us get into mental health practice through attempts to sort out our own stuff. That definitely played a role in my own path. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for your kind words!
