In Every society, religion and its institutions are responsible for spreading education. In India also, it was given to Brahmins/ Pandits and prohits. I was a student at IIT Delhi when Swamy was teaching there. During this time, a few Dalits were admitted to IIT without going through the competitions but had done well on various boards. I have seen my Dalit classmates discriminated against by Upper caste Students and Professors.

You are wrong. Sharks only guard their territory and do not attack humans unless they feel threatened especially during their feeding time. Snakes, on the other hand, are venomous, hide, are not easily visible, and surreptitiously attack humans. Snakes here is a metaphor for "unexpected danger that is brewing under the surface" in the Ganga which is another metaphor for "a pleasant place where one expects to feel relaxed". This is explained by Malhotra himself.

41:52 The word Dravida is there in Valmiki Ramayana. The context was Kaikeyi was on the floor in Kopagriha (Anger House) to which King Dasarath visited and asked her the reasons for her anger. At that time, Dasarath says he will bring anything that she wishes from "Dravida Desa" to satisfy her...as one of his ways to pacify Kaikeyi. Also, in Vedas, there is a Dravida Saakha available - even before Ramayana was written. Indeed in Dravida Saakha one utters "AgnimeLe purohitham" as "AgnimeZhe purohitham"....the "Zhe" representing the zhe in the phoneme Tamizh.

Hind exists as a foregn word ..a persian word ..in old avestan it exosts in zend avesta as hapt hindu ..
Hind and Sind both exist in the same dictionary of persian ..
The word for hind in the doctionary describes it woth the terms black slave, dog, thief..
These parsis veered off from the early vedic where there devas and asuras meant the same meaning as knwoldge seeker ..truth.
When the split occured its as if material was added to demonise asuras term. in later vedas and then in zend avesta the asuras were positive term..
The word hind must have generated then after the split..

Wrong use of snakes which are Divine in Hindu Dharma.
Nagas are good snakes, sarpas are generic for all and perhaps Rajiv Malhotra alludes to the bad venomous snakes.
Dharma Yoga Ashram Would u mingle freely with a poisonous snake since it was just doing its dharma or being "divine"?
@@kalyanp5504 There are no "bad" snakes. Poisonous or not, non-human species are pre-programmed to do their dharma just like how human vehicles are pre-programmed by Karma to face cause and effect or Karma

This type of nationalism is only to polarize the domination of north Aryan or sanskritized hindi belt over south. In this case, his opinion is different from others in any opinion. But a civilized person allows other pluralistic views to know the truth n reason.
