Yeah, scammers are American too, that’s why they speak English well, because that’s their language. He is just a straight up crook. And we all have been approached by these money hungry creeps! It is fun tho to string them along and waste their time, knowing we are never going to hire them for Anything!😂😂😂😊
A couple of days ago I had a scammer get into contact with me. On their profile they have themselves coming from Toronto Canada. The picture that they were using was a picture of an Asian pharmacist. They asked me where I was from and told them I was from North America and I asked them where they were from. They told me they were from Toronto but were in Germany with the military doing doctor work. Then I asked were they are originally from and they told me that they were originally from North Carolina. I'm thinking, man I will be getting this individual and I will be getting him banned. I started asking questions about Toronto as that is where I am from and idiot could not even answer any of my questions right 🤣. I started asking questions about the weather and all they came up with was it was freezing. Yes it was freezing and it was also snowing with freezing drizzle. I kept on asking questions when they said a famous word that Nigerian scammers love using. I knew right away that it was a well written Nigerian with perfect grammar. Reported the idiot and go to look the next day they were gone 🤣. Another scammer tried the same thing the following day using a famous scammer word and did the same thing reported. People need to be very careful online because scammers are becoming very good in their scamming ways.
Scammers have pretty well given up on calling me but I did have some indian male call me the other day (from india) trying to convince me that he can build me a nice website (as I already have a website). He knew my name, my PO box and my phone number from the who is registry (public a lot of the time). I played the role as a developer myself (well I can but not too well) and asked him if he needed a job but he didn't seem interested. He just wanted to no doubt get as much as he could and do as little (if any) work at all. My website works fine and the front end he sees (if he even bothers to look) is just a front end designed to be boring so people will pass it by. The back end and hidden stuff is the interesting bit.
Not all call center scammers are indian, not all email scammers are nigerian. A few indian call center bosses in india try to learn good English to scam people easier

Because he’s violating the do not call registry, wouldn’t give me the business license number, and he lied and said their website is down. I’ve gotten these calls before and when I check the business names, they don’t exist.
