8⁰ last night here in North central Alabama, pond has been frozen over for days, MAYBE it will start thawing tomorrow. Wood heater was nice last night!
Justin, that wood stove with the meat cooking on top sure looked good. This morning at our house it got down to -10 degrees and the high was +9. Cold is relative for the area you live. Tomorrow it is to get up into the teens for a high. I was standidng around the wood stove too, only I wasn't cooking venison. I'll have to do that tomorrow. The wall looks nice.
Hey Justin! It got down to 0 degrees last night here in Indiana! So... that stove/fire with something cooking on it, taking the edge off the cold... and something warm to wash it down looked MIGHTY good. The Knife Shop is looking sharp (no pun intended! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!); and will only look better as you get settled in. I've got a sign and some other stuff that is going to be headed down your way, sometime between now and Spring. Take Care And I'll See You Down The Trail!
I'm with you I'm set up so power or going somewhere is not a biggie. LOL, I've been stuck here for over a week anyway! The transmission in my jeep finally giving a problem. Trying to find a small truck.
Starting to look like somebody lives there. You ought to cook you some soup beans on that pot belly. The best ones I ever cooked was on a kerosene heater when I had one. It cooked them low and slow..just right! Throw a another chunk of wood in the stove and stay warm. It was 8 degrees here this morning but it did make it to a bit above freezing.
Hey Justin: I got to thinkin' Around here a lot of the garages use used motor oil in those home made heaters to heat their repair shops. With all the deep fryin' you do, maybe you should invest in or build a reclaimed oil heater for your knife shop? It would solve a heat problem AND get rid of used oil. Maybe there's some auto shops nearby who would give you their used oil? After all they have to pay to have it removed, so why not give it away? Good video. God bless: Two Feathers
Good morning sir. Thank you for doing a awesome job on my order. I had no doubts that you would make a excellent product. However I am a bit disappointed in your customer care. I left phone messages and I sent mu😢emails that didn’t get answered. I can certainly understand being busy but in 50 years of making knives and doing metalwork and blacksmithing I always made it a point to stay in contact with my customers. I am sure that is not a priority as watching this video it seems you are more focused on making money than making lifelong customers and connections. Most of my customers have returned many times. A little constructive criticism about making a sheath to hang from your neck you should never use square corner cord. The reason is that those 4 edges are very abrasive on your skin
@@gimpyoldhunter i just went back and looked Mr Tom Haynes and each email you sent me was respoded to and there were pictures sent of the knife and sheath to which your words were “its perfect “ as you had asked for a sheath style i do not build normally. Send it to me and i will refund your money
Never had a problem getting responses to my emails when I followed instructions on how to communicate with you about the knives we bought from you. If you receive the knife back, we are interested in purchasing it! Please let us know
It's 8 this morning here in TN I'd rather have the snow then this cold the shop is coming along
