❤Genting Highlands, to save expenses, use the bus from KL Sentral and go back to the city after all it is not far because hotels in Genting are quite expensive
Our hotel was really cheap actually! We did look at the bus, but it was far from our hotel in Kuala Lumpur and we had a bit of time limit! Taxi worked out perfect and was also not the most expensive 😄
The whole place is 'designed' to keep you in it. It took me like 5-6 visit to make out a general idea of the directions there, but still feel like I only cover 50% of the place… if unsure of directions, ask staffs working there

Genting is not an island! Neither is kuala lumpur the capital. Genting is a mountain top tourist, resort and casino venue

Here we have hills in different states that you can go hiking too, the highest being Mount Kinabalu in Sabah and gunung tahan in Pahang.
Next one...u guys should go to Cameron Highland....also a high land and d weather are chilling.....u can visit d tea plantation, strawberry farm....mossy forest etc.....
We would have loved to go there! But unfortunately no time… next time! 😄

You should! it's amazing :D
but you need to spend at least a day or two to fuly enjoy there. go in the morning to avoid the crowd n rush. go on a weekday its less crowded if u go on the weekend there will be a bigger crowd. try the casino, at least just for the experienc sake. and u have to try the roller coaster, its one of the best in the country.

Yes, you should really go! You will be amazed! Just make sure you don't visit on the weekend, it's packed. We stayed at: Windmill Premier Suites Genting Highlands. Many different places offer rooms in this complex (it's huge), we just took the cheapest one at Agoda and it was perfect!

you went to 4th Dimension. malaysian call it Alam Ghaib. some people r lost in there. most get out smiling.
u go to langkawi there is the steepest cable car in the world... and go to kl the second tallest building in malaysia
Just south of Kuala Lumpur is the state of Negeri. There are 2 hills that we could go hiking through tropical forest, they are Gunong Angsi and Gunong Datuk. Near the town of Johol we could explore a cave.
Batu Malui Cave in Johol, Negeri Sembilan. Best, check it out.
Genting was a dream of 1 man, the late mr lim goh tong
i get lost too first timei went.. after few rounds starting to get used to it.. went there for 3 days 2 nights.. and btw, genting is also called city in the clouds😂

genting highlands pronounced as GURN - ting high lands. not jan thing. its prnounced as a G. NOT J. many forigners make this mistake tho. and fyi youd need to take at least 2 days to fully explore and enjoy here. theres an indoor park and outdoor park. you can easily get there by bus from the kl sentral station. its found on the basement area, so u need to go down the escalators, you can also take the busses to klia airport and klia 2 airport over there too. theres a counter where u can buy the tickets for genting highland buses there. priced around myr10 if im not mistaken. and genting highlands is the only LEGAL PLACE IN MALAYSIA FOR A CASINO. all the others u come across are not legal. the license was given only once as per law.

G is pronounced as in sugar.
J is pronounced as in jelly.
And H is pronounced as in hotel.
And u is pronounced u, not a.
Again, like sugar. Not umbrella .

For your info, the outdoor theme park cost rm 170 per person. I doubt you will go in even when it is open. Too expensive.
Go to East java and borobudur Temple
A video of genting without any shot inside the casino even a very brief one doesn't do it any justice simply because the place is very synonymous with gambling

It’s irritating hearing them say “jenting” like hello, you visited the place so obviously you heard people said the right pronunciation. I still don’t understand. Some foreigners just wants to act dumb to be cool kids.
