    Vince!!! I have been BINGE watching all your videos for a week now lol. I am doing this coffee journey in stages. 1st stage (low start up $$) is just the festivals/farmers market type gigs with cold brew. My end goal is to be in a store front one day. But my question is.... once you have the pre-made cold brew concentrate made and you want to heat it with propane, how are you serving it in the cup? Are you laddling it in, cup by cup?? Do you cover this stuff in your ebook?? I just need to buy that thing lol. Thank you so much for all your amazing input!!

    How much do you charge for catering?
    Per person?

    Just got put onto your channel man, great stuff! Question: how do you price an event? Is it per hour? Or based off a rough estimate on how many things you’d sell?

    Do you also have a washroom in your truck ?

    • @GreenJoeCoffeeTruck
      @GreenJoeCoffeeTruck  4 роки тому

      I assume "washroom" means a toilet? No, I do not. Bathroom breaks, I lock up and use a public restroom. I have seen trucks with toilets, but they are more difficult to get permitted. Check your health inspector before adding it...

    What was the avg amount of hours you would put in a day when you went full time?

    • @GreenJoeCoffeeTruck

      What a great question! I served from 630a-1p. I started setting up around 545am. It takes me about 30 minutes to set up, but having 45 min means I could have a chill cup of coffee before the crowd. It just made for a better morning. So I arrived early but that was my own choosing. . And would usually have opener help. I would cut them loose around noon (6am-12p M-Th @ $10/hr +tips and occasional Sat or Sunday shift). Count the draw. Balance the books and then head to Costco or Shamrock (Restaurant Supply). Along the way, I would dump grey and pick up fresh water. Return the truck (I would bring it to Costco because it's good advertising) and go home. Usually I was home around 230p. So, I worked probably 8.5 hours a day M-Th and then Friday off. If I had a big gig, then I would restock friday, get ready for the big gig. If I didn't have a gig I would take the family out of town . So, I either had a 3 day weekend or I had to work 5 day work week (one on Saturday for an event). All in all, I worked about every other Saturday. So, it's hard to average. The weeks where there was no good gigs going, we went camping or fishing or we would just rent some airbnb out. What really got good is when we rented our airbnb out (we hosted for a while) and would get out of town for 4 days at a time. More than anything, owning the coffee truck gave me more flexibility in my work schedule. Around this time, I was grossing over 100k. For the net numbers, you have to buy the book...(www.greenjoecoffeetruck.com/eboo).

      Green Joe Coffee Truck Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking similar times m-f at big corporate offices/apartments and keeping the weekends open for getting booked for events. Thanks again! I’ll be buying your ebook very soon. You have great info.

      @@emadventures6975 I think the fear of not finding customers is something we can all relate to. I do have a few videos on my channel that address this issue. But finding customers is like a good chipper... consistency is the key.

    When you say catering do you mean food?

    • @GreenJoeCoffeeTruck
      @GreenJoeCoffeeTruck  5 років тому +2

      Hey Steve, when I say catering, I refer to a host purchasing coffee or sometimes adding food, for their guest. These type of gigs are usually 50 plus people at 5-10$ each.
