On the first part, not too long ago I was conflicted over this. I loved my family more than anything, and I felt as though it was asking me to betray my love for them. Back then I didn’t know God, not really, but now I see that he really is the best and he wants what is best for me throughout everything. My love for my family is great, and it is just one part of his love for me.
For God so loved the world that He sent His ONE AND ONLY SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. JOHN 3:16. Look at the gospel, not your works. Look at Jesus and His sacrifice for you, and believe in who He says He is.
Matthew 7:21-23 is saying that you're doings doesn't matter, and Jesus will not care based on what your doings in life. the Lord will only let you in heaven because of your faith in him and that you believe in him that he died for your sins, that he is the only way to life "john 14:6" and that he lived the perfect life that you want to live "Romans 8:28-29". that also ties in with john 3:16 very well and everything else that you have shown. Did the thief that declared his faith in Christ do all of these things you said are needed to go to heaven? He did not; he trusted in Christ and was saved. You cannot be saved by works; you cannot earn salvation. No matter how many good deeds you do, they will not overshadow your bad deeds. I'm not saying that you should not have a relationship with God; far from it, you need to have a relationship with God.
Correct, the requirement for salvation is for God to know YOU, which happens at the moment of belief in the gospel. YOU knowing God takes works, which we are not saved by, you SHOULD know God and that comes by reading scripture and prayer which are works, we are saved by Grace through Faith in Christ and we should have peace knowing that nothing can take our salvation and knowing that we can pursue good works without fear of Hell because that is not a fate that awaits children of God. Don’t do good deeds out of fear of going to hell, do them out of love for God.
Yeah, but I think he meant that you have to try and put full effort as a part of faith in God. You should want to and dedicate, as an attempt to better the world despite never becoming a really great change.

It’s important to separate what you SHOULD do now that your saved, vs what must be done to be saved, which is to repent (change your mind) from unbelief to belief in Christ. You put yourself above God when you think your filthy rags (Good Deeds) can earn heaven. You need to repent and believe in the gospel my friend. Make your phone a place of God, give to the Lord. Read the bible on the phone, listen to worship music on your phone hear sermons etc. Phones are a true gift and blessing from the Lord treat it like a gift!
I just cant agree with everything you are saying and let me be clear on this: I believe we are our own gods so really saying you need to love God more than your family, like doesnt it just sound wrong in your own head ? The true message is that in order for you to be able to love somone else, you need to love yourself first. It is that simple and makes sense. Bible is very old and the messages written there are very hard to understand. Moreover, every person understands the message little differently, according to ones perspectives and experiences. Well .. what Im trying to say is that Bible doesnt lie and what you said in the video is right, but the way you represent the message sounds very evil and I dont believe its meant to be that way.
