Maybe you can’t do it every time, but I really like when you restate what the players say. For example on Hole 5 Calvin said something about not knowing how it looked because it’s blind, and you restated that. Then Paul said something and you and Nate chuckled. Maybe it’s just me, but I can never hear what the players say, so I really like it when you enlighten us. It’s one of the things I like about your production compared to some of the elite series coverage.
Same exact thoughts! From one of the early rounds, you both were laughing about Calvin's commentary and I cranked all my volumes and still heard nothing. Or jokingly- just mic Calvin all the time.
Thanks as always for the tournament coverage Terry. I happened to find myself watching the 2014 mad city open the other day on smashbox tv and was suprised to see you on the coverage with Will Mueller "hole 5 guy", who I know from the Madison, WI disc golf scene. You've come a long way and you should be extremely proud of yourself for sticking to your passion and something that you're extremely talented at. Keep up the great work!
This is such a phenomenal course. I don't know if it has the capability of being on the pro tour (parking, cell signal, etc) but it is so unique and so unlike most of the USA. Great coverage as always.
Seeing as we all love watching the flight of the disc, I think this is at the core of why i feel like I prefer being able to see the basket, watching the disc land is important for the joy of seeing it fly.
Playing blind tee shots --- love the hush from everyone.....listen for sounds....tilt the ear....eyes are looking for something that they won't see --- Thanks Terry !! And Nate !!
I agree with Craig in the comment before about the smaller additions you are doing..especially the little details like in the previous video with the snake 🐍 and finding footing and such. It’s those things that we can all relate to as disc golfers that bring “us” as UA-cam viewers “into” your program making me feel like I’m walking along with the group having fun! Keep up the great work! ☮️ ✌️
I really love blind holes. Nothing better than trusting a disc to hold a line. Even better when you can't see the basket. Such fun coverage this year! Thanks again Terry and crew. Awesome having Perk on the call too.
I'm not a huge fan of blind shots, but they're OK every now and again. They can be fun under the right hole design. Thanks again for the great coverage!!
I love playing blind holes! I can imagine my drive being in the fairway for those extra couple of minutes it takes to walk up and retrieve my disc from the OB water.
I've found with blind shots that it makes me hit a space in the air quite close in front rather than the pressure of aiming for something much further away so a few are quite nice in a round
Thanks for all the work you do! One thing I would say is... I don't mind waiting 4+ more hours for the front 9 to drop, but waiting 4+ hours in between front and back 9 is pretty rough. Just drop them at the same time!
I’m from there so I know there is some hilly terrain around that area, but it’s always funny to me that a tournament called Throw Down the Mountain is held in Florida.
For me, it really doesn't matter if I can see the basket or not. It's always about hitting my line/gap/angle and letting the disc do its job. I play several tree courses (city will absolutely not allow the installtion of baskets) and so I've learned not to fucus on the basket for my line.
Glad that Thomas and Alex at least went with different color shirts, was bit difficult to tell them apart, they look like twins. Good coverage as always Terry.
Yes, I like some blind shots in a course. It's good to see where to throw, but sometimes that can get a little bit "boring". Good job with the coverage!
As a scandinavian, I can REALLY relate to the footing issues. We have a lot of muddy greens and fairways, especially in the winter and spring time. I learned to just prioritize good footing over a stance that I'm used to, but sometimes, there's just no good footing at all, and you just gotta take a shot at it. Good for your mental game, not so good for your score lol!
I’m new to disc golf, so I don’t have many instincts to rely on when it comes to blind shots. However, I truly appreciate when a skilled player is able to make the most of a blind shot by trusting the knowledge they have. It is a level I would like to get to one day.
On tournaments where I'm playing blind, blind shots are so tough, but when I know the course I love them. My first ace was a total blind shot and hearing the chains was such a thrill!
I love blind holes and visible holes… I like the variety and see ing how pros choose to attack them. It is impressive when a pro is good at one or the other… but both is very impressive
Thanks for the great coverage! In response to your question: Blind shots are ok if you have spotters, but it not It is often a problem due to lost discs, even on good shots.
These videos are (and have been for at least all of 2022) consistently quieter than any other videos I watch, making the ads blast my ears. Any chance you could check the volume levels for future videos.
I like blind shots, as long as the signage is good. I think the concept of just hitting the line and not trying to throw it in sometimes helps me do better.
In tournament play, I would prefer always knowing the course and planning ahead but during practice rounds it is fun and teaching in a way to throw blind.
I think the blind shot question ties back to Round 1s question of how important are practice rounds. If I've played the hole and have a feeling for the line, blind doesn't seem to make a big difference.
I love the concept of a blind hole cause it forces you to trust your game plan. In a casual round where there are no spotters, however, it's scary to throw your disc because any errant shot will be difficult to find.
Always awesome to have A. Russ (#pnwdiscgolf) on the card. How do y'all feel about T. Gil? It's got a nice ring to it. Glad to see Thomas on a lead card again.
A blind shot is always fun and a challenge but having that wide open hole makes things a lot easier. The best are wide open fairways with the pin just behind an obstruction.
I have to say as I have gotten a tiny bit better at Disc Golf, I have started to enjoy blind shots more. I think the main reason for that is that I can play with different disc to try and get the reaction I am looking for out of my hand while not staring down a basket. There are disc (Zone) that I used to think were useless for my play but now I know better how to throw them to get what I need.
as much as I see the double g craft jerky spot, it cracks me up every time that he has all the meat stacked up next to an eagle mcmahon signature grip bag.
Maybe you can’t do it every time, but I really like when you restate what the players say. Same I don't watch with studio monitors on. Lol let us know what they say.

Agreed!

Blind shots are exhilarating, and just fun. High risk, high reward. Ty for all the sacrifices and hard work team.
Hope you can bring back the mid round random check in interviews Terry. That was so cool, and made your channel unique.
This is such a phenomenal course. I don't know if it has the capability of being on the pro tour (parking, cell signal, etc) but it is so unique and so unlike most of the USA. Great coverage as always.
Thank you for this coverage Terry! We appreciate you.
Thank you for the coverage, crazy to see the lines they decide to execute. Fantastic commentary as well
Seeing as we all love watching the flight of the disc, I think this is at the core of why i feel like I prefer being able to see the basket, watching the disc land is important for the joy of seeing it fly.

Love how you add their starting score to the HUD. A great addition and adds depth to their current round.
Thank you Terry! I was in the gallery all round. So cool to see myself on coverage!
This course is awesome. Though I know I'd score bad I would still love throwing it. Keep em coming Terry.

I met and played in a putting league with Alex Russell. Great human being. Good to see him on a card like this!
Great coverage! Shout out to Nate for the guest commentary, great job and thanks for being an advocate for the sport in your own way. I dig it.
Great content and as always better coverage! This course would eat me alive with all these blind shots.
I like Thomas Gilbert a lot; seems like a fun guy with a good personality. Hoping to see him get some dubs this year.
I've found with blind shots that it makes me hit a space in the air quite close in front rather than the pressure of aiming for something much further away so a few are quite nice in a round
Outstanding coverage Terry !!! Some of the best commentary out there as well
Thanks Terry, thanks Nate, great coverage and very grateful!!!
This course is on the top ten of everyone that's been there that I've met... Personally, it's my #1
I would love to play this course, looks like such a fun track with all the elevation and terrain
Looks like a blast.....except the very first time you see it. I'd pay a local to caddy for me and tell me what NOT to do.
I was just telling some friends how amazing this course looks. And we live less than a mile from the beast!
As long as the course is technical, and not just pure distance shots. I'm happy.
Thanks for all the work you do! One thing I would say is... I don't mind waiting 4+ more hours for the front 9 to drop, but waiting 4+ hours in between front and back 9 is pretty rough. Just drop them at the same time!
Love this course
Terry and Nate are a power duo on the mic. thanks everyone at the discgolfguy team
I’d say blind shots are fun! As long as I know where the basket is I feel like I can make a play
Blind holes are a good tester. I believe they are a positive addition to a course. Thanks for asking Terry!
I have always loved playing blind holes. I think they really helped me over the years with trusting my angle control on all my shots.
good camerawork, good commentary
I like 1 or 2 blind holes on a course at par 3, now par 4&5 I like mostly blind holes. Thanks for the coverage
fantastic commentary Nate -well done, made coverage very interesting
I’m from there so I know there is some hilly terrain around that area, but it’s always funny to me that a tournament called Throw Down the Mountain is held in Florida.
Thanks for the excellent commentary and your incessant commitment to my favorite sport!
Thanks for covering this event!
Best coverage out there 🤙🏻

Lol… I still don’t know the difference.
thank you for all your hard work!!! it means a lot to us stuck in Canada
Would love to see this tournament as a Silver Series event instead of Tallahassee in future seasons. Such a cool course
Thank you for this coverage Terry! Great job ya'll!
Yes, I like some blind shots in a course. It's good to see where to throw, but sometimes that can get a little bit "boring". Good job with the coverage!
Love that Calvin is flipping the basket off when he missed the put on hole 1 LAMO
Another awesome video! Love it

awsome stuff, you guys rock!
we love you Terry! keep up the awesome work!!!
This might be my favorite tournament. Great coverage as allways!
Oh, you've played it?
@@frankhaula Haha no, its my favorite to watch i mean, i'd love to play there but i live in sweden so i can't, sadly.
Fun to watch. Thanks for the coverage.

Nice coverage!
Great job, guys.
Blind holes are so much fun! It gets me out of my head when I can't see the basket and just trust my gut!
I like blind holes- always exciting to see who makes it closer!
I love blind holes and visible holes… I like the variety and see ing how pros choose to attack them. It is impressive when a pro is good at one or the other… but both is very impressive
Love this channel
Great coverage. Whether or not I can see the basket doesn't really matter because I'm probably going to shank it anyway. Lol
I love blind shots. Levels the playing field.
"you don't know my vertical" LMAO
I love blind, you rely on your disc and your muscle memory. Love the coverage Terry.
I can't be the only one who has a hard time telling Thomas and Alex apart from a distance... right? 🤣
Love blind holes! They force a thrower to understand the hole and commit to a very specific aiming point!
Thanks for the great coverage! In response to your question: Blind shots are ok if you have spotters, but it not It is often a problem due to lost discs, even on good shots.
Did calvin give the middle finger to hole ones basket?
love watching the goat play
Great stuff

Nice job terry!
You the man Terry.
Thanks Terri!
If I know or have a great idea of where the basket is, I don't mind not being able to see it from the tee or up shot.
Thank you Terry!
In tournament play, I would prefer always knowing the course and planning ahead but during practice rounds it is fun and teaching in a way to throw blind.
I think a good course had a couple blind holes, but more than that becomes a gimmick. Also, you rock, Terry! U RAH RAH Wisconsin!!
I think the blind shot question ties back to Round 1s question of how important are practice rounds. If I've played the hole and have a feeling for the line, blind doesn't seem to make a big difference.

I don't think a course made of 18 blind shoots would be fun, but it's nice to switch it up every once in a while. Thanks, Terry.
Always awesome to have A. Russ (#pnwdiscgolf) on the card. How do y'all feel about T. Gil? It's got a nice ring to it. Glad to see Thomas on a lead card again.
Best course out there!
A blind shot is always fun and a challenge but having that wide open hole makes things a lot easier. The best are wide open fairways with the pin just behind an obstruction.
I like to know the general direction of the basket, generally speaking of course
I can't play due to medical issues with my hands but I would think being able to see your intended target would be my preferred option.
Thanks again
You da man Terry!
Thanks terry
Thank you!
Alex Russell is awesome!
Glad those Keen's are working out!
I have to say as I have gotten a tiny bit better at Disc Golf, I have started to enjoy blind shots more. Blind holes are the best! Especially on a par three when all you hear is chains!
Good show Terry
Blind is so exhilarating. Home course has a huge dogleg to the right through the woods. Nothing to do but drift it and pray!
I'm not good enough to love blind holes yet :D
By the way, we can't hear anything the athletes are saying so the commentary is confusing sometimes.
as much as I see the double g craft jerky spot, it cracks me up every time that he has all the meat stacked up next to an eagle mcmahon signature grip bag.
as a follow up, Blind holes are fun, trust your shot. Nate Perkins is dope on the mic. Discmaniac for life.
What up Nate and Terry!
Blind holes are definitely nerve racking but probably the most fun
