In this #shorts video I cold start a VICTA 2 Stroke Tiger 18 Mower which I recently picked up.
All I have done to this one:
* Service the Carburettor; and
* Replace the inlet manifold o-rings.
As you see it starts first pull and purrs perfectly.
It is ready to serve another 20 or 30 odd years faithfully cutting grass!!

Your very rough mate with that starter
I like to test them thoroughly before I move them on!! If you’re worried about breaking the cord here is a video on how to replace the cord, here it is:
