For such a big country (the biggest in all of Africa), Algeria doesn't get mentioned very often in history videos, so it's cool to get a whole video about it!
Are you referring to the largest in population? Because the d.r. of Congo is the largest African country in terms of land area. I thought Nigeria was the most populated, too, but I could be wrong. However, I'm not wrong that Kongo is larger land wise.

Nigeria has more than 2.5 times the population of the 2nd most populous country in Africa, of course it's still #1 in population! Why would you spell Congo 2 different ways? And no, The DRC is NOT the largest country in Africa in terms of land area. They aren't even biggest even if you include all of their inland water. Algeria is the largest country in Africa by land area, the DRC is second.

my family and i stayed in aswan for a short while
the locals had stories about the “water people” a reptile like people who lived in the nile but were said to venture into town periodically (heads wrapped in turbans so all that shows are the slit eyes) the egyptians are known for haggling but they say these water people were given the lowest prices lol.
honestly wouldnt have thought twice about it but so many people there had stories about them. the fact that the nile is so deep much of the bottom is unexplored is pretty offsetting too. ancient river, can’t believe we swam in there 🤣
