me seeing that recurve bow getting equipped and tyler going : "ah yeah that's pretty good" just made me question if me and him are even watching the same Monitor at this point xD. Great video tho keep it up
I feel like being encumbered has ended EVERY single one of these last few runs when you lost The movement speed decrease would be bad enough, but it's also like damage reduction, dash recovery speed reduction, whatever else, it's just SO BAD You really can't afford to not get some strength or lighter items in this
Yeah, being encumbered is just such a detriment that it's not really worth it in my opinion. Especially the damage drop is painful cause you have to deal with enemies longer while being less evasive.
Only time I found it useful was when I had an item that inverted the stats to make you stronger the more you're encumbered. Was an interesting run else yeah. I personally dislike encumberment.
It's a name from Diablo 2. The dev borrows quite a bit from diablo and dark souls. Ironically its why i love this game. It feels more diablo 2 than diablo 4
The fact that you skipped Lightning Conductor on the Lucky Hit character 3 times is just awesome. A true Olenky moment. Never change Tyler. In general though, you really, really wanna build every character to work off their Passive. I'm sure you know this though.
Yes, the ez mode upgrade is fairly weak, tho its good for people learning the game or if you want to just blast through the first 3 levels and get to the higher stuff (honestly wish more games had ways to do that), the stuff that comes after it is where the power is. In particular making half as many of the annoying super enemies show up (even if they are tougher) drastically aids survival, and the vanity upgrade is WAY OP. It makes it so that you want to choose rarity as the boss option every time (uncommon, rare, set, epic, or legendary, in that order of in game rarity btw) because it basically rerolls any item results below that cut off and makes all chances of rolling higher items get bumped up several tiers. And, if you would roll something higher than a slot you can get it instead adds extra bonuses to the item. This also helps avoid curses dropping the rarity. On a similar note of usefulness, getting the upgrade down the armory path that stops negative prefixes from spawning is super duper op, you get probably 75% of the items enchanted positively and the rest are at least blanks. The other one that locks one positive and one negative is nowhere near as good.
Tip: mana stars are a great investment even on non-magic runs, there are traits, consumables, items, and and enchantments that all give stat boosts based on stars even for ranged/melee

The past several days have been my friends and I playing this game trying for the fastest runs as we slowly get... let's call it far less sober. It is currently a staggering 9 degrees F outside... today we do the same because driving in this is miserable.
@@mainlyyogurt is so cold nobody wants to leave the house and both my work and my boyfriend work are like “Please stay home you idiot, the parking lot is icy AF, we can not keep you car safe.” So I am just taking their advice. @@trevornoname649 yeah the main problem is this is Texas. Nothing is made for ice. Cars just slide around parking lots and cars have a chance to just act like they don’t have brakes.
I find that Cinder 6-8 is the sweetspot when it comes to difficulty. It adds enough challenge without being "unfair". Cinder 16 is, at the moment at least, a coin flip it feels like. Some of these Cinder mods aren't that bad, but when you mix them together, you're in for a nightmare.
Raven Talisman goes HARD on the Deprived. I had like 90% attack speed bonuses elsewise and a ranged weapon that hovered and could hit multiple times, plus the Precision trait so it was incredibly easy to get that Atonement ball rolling
The only times I played gun slinger I got no guns. Ended up using a mace of all things. I think the mastery benefit to give you more weapons for this class specifically would be a large improvement
@OlexaYT it's not that rare if you to taverns, which are always great for the dice. What else are you going to spend gold on? The item shops are usually a scam compared to chests!
Yeah, this is kind of not a game where you can “make” a run, more of one where you can “accept” a choice or two along how rng wants it to go haha, the amount of times i died being stubborn before accepting that was not few haha
I don't think the Atonment Offhand is nearly as good as you think. Cursed Crits are incredibly rare outside of set bonuses, it can work if you stacked an absurd amount of int but outside of that basically everyt other Offhand is better
You should never take curses when you care about lucky hits. Curse is the opposite of luck, so you can't scale both cursed hits and lucky hits at the same time. Anyway, I love your Tiny Rogues videos nonetheless. You do crazy and chaotic stuff and are a funny guy altogether. Keep up the great work! :D
That's not true! You can absolutely scale both. I had two runs today where I did and built around it--one a gunslinger with a guaranteed lucky hit after every cursed hit and vice versa, and another as deprived where I had an accessory that made both luck and curse equal the higher of the two. Had something like 70% lucky hit chance and 60% cursed hit chance at the same time for one of them along with the Truth and Justice guns that do c. 100% extra damage on cursed hits and give a +20% lucky hit chance on tanky enemies and bosses.
I rarely give up my starter weapon that early, depending on the character. Early game common/uncommon weapons are usually hot garbage that are only MARGINALLY better than the weapon you start with. Sometimes they're a straight up downgrade.
