- Today’s review is checking out the 3.75” The Vintage Collection Slave I from Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back. This was released by Hasbro as an Amazon exclusive in 2013 and was sold for $70. This is a repaint of Jango Fett’s Slave I as it was released in The Rise of Boba Fett Ultimate Battle Pack which was a Toys R Us exclusive in 2010.

I can never look at Carbonised Han in the same way anymore until it was pointed out that when he entered the chamber he had Handcuffs on...and like Houdini, miraculously broke free to put his hands up.
Lovely Vehicle... shame about the cockpit lid and wing flaps not turning....I thought they’d be able to sort out the holding area ramp better too. Oh well, see what the new release brings in time.
I've got the reissue POTF version. But didn't know this one was larger! Great review!

Bought this in 2013 for $24 discounted on Amazon. A STEAL. Now it's going for $200 or more. I'd love to open it, but never will. Amazing vehicle.
Brilliant clearly made review. Just ordered it for my little boy for his tenth birthday in september along with X-wing, Tie Fighter and interceptor and skiff . Might have to hold back on a couple of toys for xmas ....

That was such a good review Erin! I don’t have this one but I did order the re-release from 2020 on GameStop for Christmas. Should come in any day. It will be cool to compare the differences.

Well i have a Slave -1 and i love my vehicle. The slave 1 is and will always be my favorite next to mill falcon. I have i think the same slave one as you do so i love mine.
One misses feature. In the play area in the back, where the figures can stand, there’s a plug on the wall. You can plug Boba Fettd back pack in there while he’s in the cockpit. Neat little extra. Great review
Hi Erin, have you ever considered to buy and review vintage figures (the 80’s Kenner ones)?
I still have the figures from my childhood that I'm sure I'll get around to doing. Not that many though. I don't know if any of them are totally complete and they certainly are showing their age. One day I wouldn't mind building up that part of my collection more though.

Hey thank for the break down,just purchased one for 30 buck,not complete missing han in carbo,the bottom ramp and the wings,hopefully I can find them,but ya was wondering y the cockpit was lock,lol now I gotta go find those wings if anything
