Incredibly inventive. Extremely emotional. One of my favourite albums of all time. The intro and Your ghost is dead kick you in the chin and you still have the rest of the album after that coming over you like an avalanche.
Never heard someone do those ultra high screeches in a song before, I can only do a few of them before I tire myself out and I have very little control of them but they're great for scaring the fuck outta people lol.

theOG_ Intraum its not really a named instrument. most likely just a contact mic or a pickup under those springs. merzbow has something similar. its a noise instrument basically

You seem to be genuinely asking and really, it's a pretty good question, that you could get pretty deep into. I say yes, for multiple reasons. I think it's disingenuous to say that no part of it is music.
