The bonecrunching guitars sound like the winds that whip across the earth at the end of cat's cradle. The extended satanic litanies demand close attention. They mimic the sound of silence.
Like a lot of bands from Japan, it looks like they can't into song structure and have some mild issues with attention span. The video is awesome though, and the riffs etc. aren't too shabby when it comes to technique, so this gets a like.
"Short attention span" Progressive music Type of music that emphasizes form and stylistic variety Progressive music is music that attempts to expand existing stylistic boundaries associated with specific genres of music. The word comes from the basic concept of "progress", which refers to development and growth by accumulation, and is often deployed in the context of distinct genres such as progressive country, progressive folk, progressive jazz, and (most significantly) progressive rock.

I'd say the genre they produce is mainly: japan noise, doom metal noise, grind metal noise.
It's usually a mix of those.
Saw them last week and they destroyed it.
Love the visual concept of the video. Love the song and album!

Or maybe they're a modification of traditional Japanese songs, and don't need to appeal to Western tastes.

This is far more advanced than you think it is. It's too dense and too quick for you. Go listen to Foo Fighters.
