I loved performing this when I was at Columbus Boychoir School. It's an elegantly simple piece, but takes a long time to perfect.
Обожаю её, шикарное произведение для хора
One of the few composers who was determined to and succeeded in writing amazing music for childrens choruses. Britten will always be a genius. That Sanctus is crazy cool btw. By far my fave mvt.
That and the Benedictus together are incredible. And how about that weird "twelve-note row in D major"... a very special sound!
This was so much fun to sing as a girl in the girls' choir!
С ума можно сойти, как это просто, но одновременно с этим - завораживающе...
Fantástic

Thank you!
Изумительно!!!!!🛐
Not maybe the best piece he composed, but there are some interesting thing, like Sanctus (inspired by the school of Notre Dame?)

Ever since I watched Q.E.D: A Guide to Armageddon, this has officially reminded me of the Cold War nearly becoming hot back in the 80’s.
The Agnus Dei is the BEST
