You probably have a lot of mixed memories about the rain. You're little and you want to play outside, but you can't, because of the rain. But on the plus side, you can stay inside with your classmates, draw, chat, and have fun. It's good for your plants and garden, and maybe you were a kid who loved just going out there and splashing in the puddles in your raincoat and wellies. When it rains is when you truly appreciate the four walls and the roof shielding you from it all. It's when you can sit inside and feel safe, sheltered, and protected. And it's when you can just sit there and feel at home while doing the things you love. Sure, it might've ruined your fun sometimes (and can be inconvenient), but rainy weather has something to it that makes you truly appreciate it when it happens. That you can just watch it all go by from the shelter of your home or your car. With nothing but the subtle taps of the droplets on the ground and windows keeping you company. However gentle or fierce it may be, the rain will come and fall, and it will pass. But while it falls, it'll be there for you. Rain is a gift, maybe not one we always ask for, but one we should cherish. And I can say with full confidence. That I found peace within the rain.
