JC needs to stay at Sunderland for a couple more years. He is very light weight for the Premier league, and his close control when running with the ball isn’t quite there yet. When we played the Mags he didn’t get a kick, Trippier had him in his pocket. He can expect that in the higher league.

Smart move from the club. If they are looking to add value to players and reap benefits in terms of sell on value then Alese is one of the bankers in the squad.
I see at least 3 players leaving this summer Clarke, Ballard and possibly Patterson. Money from their sales would allow us to increase wage structures, sign new players and change our playing style not just relying on one player for goals.
As the model stands Clarke will go to finance incommings. Alese looks promising but twenty-seven games in fits and starts aren't enough to make a judgment so we'll have to trust the recruitment teams assessment
i hope AJi Alese does well for Sunderland international break it's back that means there its going to be a another injury crisis list it's pathetic
Aji took one for the team playing against Luton last season when we were desperate for bodies when he wasn't fully recovered. That aggravated his injury which is why he's been out this season - it's a bit unfair to say he's a sick note - he's a good player. Cirkin played plenty of games in L1, so think he'll be OK and he's good too. Not sure about Huggins - he's a good player, but I think he has a long term problem. He had to have monthly infusion injections during his long run of games this season. Harte is eying a big personal bonus if Clarke gets a transfer and just spinning the dialogue so it looks as if it's all down to SAFC not meeting his wage demands - he's never said how much he's asking for.

I'm a really big Alese fan, personally I prefer him to Cirkin at LB but similar to Cirkin another really talented player who really struggles to stay fit and that's one of the biggest problems here, as for the Clarke situation we know he is gonna leave anyway regardless of whether we would offer him more money or not, that's not the problem, the problem is that we'll keep loosing key players and not replacing them properly because of this stupid wage bill, yes i know u don't want to go crazy or anything cos it hasn't helped in the past, however u can't get promoted with the 4th lowest wage bill in the league, also it's very concerning when u hear that this lot won't change the wage structure which clearly shows that they're happy with championship football

I personally think . The training is not correct we get as much injuries in traning than on thr park . Think bsck how you were trsind .im a rx keeoer . And our training was mainly running up a hil and down a hil . And .the sbin pads need to be like the 70s they were harder .and coverd the ankle much better . . I never used gloves . Monty dident in the 70s most the time and he held them . Balls from conners . Patterson msking too mistake
Aji is injury prone and will be like that for the rest of his career and is not the only one who like that at our club. We will just wait and see in the summer to what KLDs intentions are and if Speakman is still here they will no longer flourish at the championship level. All these changes mean nothing to me as this proves he is going to sell the club
Joel is this the peak of excitement these days at our once beloved club. A guy who can’t put in two games together in a row. The absolute worst part is KLD and Speakman think this is world shattering news that will drive season ticket sales up.
Clarke'll be gone by the end of the Season.

Get rid of Speakman off the wage bill and give some of the money to Jack to rinse his wage and the remaining money get more experienced players in.
Apparently he sprained his wrist signing the contract and he's out for another month.

Im trying to understand how he's got a new contract, someone please tell me what he brings to the table, im getting pissed of with people saying these players have got potential. We need players that are better than just potential, we need players that are top class to get us out the shit we're obviously in, so less of the potential shit!!
Let's hope Aji stays injury free, he'll make us a good 'un! Clarke needs extra cash? Give it him ffs. I know we can't match other clubs, but surely an accomodation can be reached?
