You need a bellhousing adapter from Kennedy Engineering Products and you have to fabricate the motor mounts by welding them up to a custom frame. Also I believe you have to use the flywheel and pressure plate for the VR6 but use the clutch disk for the Vanagon (but I don't remember, customer brought those parts). Also you have to do some custom hoses for the cooling system.
There's no modification to the transmission, this Vanagon came with the Watercooled engine and it's the original Syncro all wheel drive drivetrain. I don't know about how strong the rear wheel drive transmissions are, but this transmission is holding the power fine so far, but time will tell. It has only been driven a couple thousand miles since the swap. I think if you're fairly easy on it then it should hold up fine.

Are you able to close the top of the trunk??
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE VR6 TO BE MATED TO THE VANAGON TRANSAXLE?
deck lid clearance?
up to how many kilometers per hour transmission accelerates from home?
Tell me please, what kind of transmission is in your VR6?
It's the stock 4 speed.
How much would this swap cost?
It will do over 150 kph
native mission or what?
um she's such a motor can withstand?
Do you mean how fast top speed? I don't know, you have to look on the internet to find the gear ratios and do the math. Probably around 175 kph
