Their "corn whiskey" is 51% corn (to meet the legal requirement to be called a corn whiskey) and 49% cane sugar. If you actually like that sugarwash nastiness, then here's the recipe for say, 10 gallons:
Cook 10.5lbs of cracked/ground/flaked corn at 190-200 degrees for 90 minutes, it'll be thicker than oatmeal, then let it cool to 150-160 degrees and add Alpha Amylase (or 10% of grain weight in malted barley, because it has that enzyme) and hold at that temp for an hour, then let it start to cool and mix in your (yuck) cane sugar as it cools, and once it gets down to 90 degrees, add some Gluco Amylase and your yeast. Let that ferment out and then clear it and distill it.
They don't do all that cooking and enzyme conversions on the show because the show isn't actually making corn/rye/barley mashes, it's making cane sugar WASHES with a tiny amount of grain that they don't convert and don't get any alcohol from the grains, just from the cane sugar.
