Same here. I had to live out of my car and I was so grateful and thanked God for my car! Now I have a small farm and surrounded with everything I've ever wanted. If I lose everything again, I know it's all in God's plan. I don't worry!
About 11 years ago, I lost my hubby when my kids were just 15 & 5 years old. It still hurts today. I remember being so angry with God. We are practicing Catholics, we go to church every week and did our best to keep His commandments. Why? I went to see my priest and I complained about God for 4 hours, crying. When I finally stopped, my priest said; “God knows you are hurt. God knows you are angry. But God also knows, the exact time when you will come back to Him, loving Him even more”. At that time, I thought my priest was crazy but now I know - its just Jesus and I. Nothing belongs to me; not even my 2 kids. They’re just given to me for awhile to look after. Everything belongs to Him, the Creator. Everything. Absolutely everything is His. All I have that is really mine, is my soul. “Lord Jesus, have mercy on me, a sinner”.
Cried reading this, I went through something similar with my parents. My mom, who was the center of my universe, had a horrible death. And I was so angry at Him, for the longest time I thought I hated Him. Came back stronger than ever, realizing we're on loan here, all of us, and that it's crucial we never take our time here for granted, that we tell our loved ones as much as possible, that we love them ❤ - never assuming that they know.
Three years ago on august 7 I lost everything. My husband committed suicide and i also lost my two children. I struggle everyday to get out of bed and just breathe. I have only been able to move forward because of my Lord Jesus carrying me every day. I have hope in Him that I will keep getting up and someday find peace. Thank you Father Mike. I really needed to hear this.
I have been praying a decade of the rosary for the departed and their grieving families.. 🙏❤🕊 May the Almighty keep you in His Grace that you may grow in His Love, may Our Lady guide you in your ways, may St Joseph protect you in your wanderings. Our Lord is close to the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds ❤🕊
My dear Gina, the pain of losing my hubby 11 years ago still hurts the same today. I can’t imagine your pain. I wish I could give you a big hug & cry with you. All I can do is pray for you. “Lord Jesus, please wrap Gina in your tender loving arms until we all see each other in heaven. In your most precious name, I make this prayer for Gina. Amen.”
Hang on my dear! Don't give up on God! Regardless of what you're going through; Christ is The Way, The Truth and The Life! In the End Without Christ you miss out on Everything: the way, the truth an the life! May God be with you!
You will make it. St Paul went from a persecutor, to blind, to mistrusted, to chosen by God. God sees you my friend. We say life is a journey without understanding what we say. You will get there. Don’t worry, just prevail.
I was overwhelmed al most four years by the love of God as my wife died holding my hand as we prayed the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I still miss her presence everyday.
Oh Glenn, I am so sorry, I haven’t sufficient words. But the gift of being present as Our Lord called your wife home during the Chaplet is a gift to her as well as you. Stay strong, Our Lady surely has you wrapped in her mantle. God bless.
Heartbreak is a great lose. Losing trust in someone is also a great lose. In defeat, we can also lose sight of ourselves. And that is the greatest loss of all. However, God knows that we can rise up from loss. Thrive through all your hardship and accept the blessing from everyday life. Don’t lose hope. Don’t lose faith. Don’t lose love. Thank you for your words of genuine goodness. GOD BLESS!!
So true Paola. Losing trust in someone you love colors all of the trust you had in everyone. It is a type of death in my opinion. Lying, cheating, “getting over on someone” tears everything apart. People say, what he/she doesn’t know won’t hurt them but that’s simply not true. I feel that the truth has lost its value in our society. So sad. Thank God we have God. God is the ultimate truth.
“Not even death is the end”. “ There is a future of hope in store for us”. This video is so powerful. I am grieving the death of my 29 year old son nearly one year ago. I had to listen to this video twice. Thank you. Your words brought me peace today. God bless you, Father Mike.
Praying for you and your family ❤️🙏 adoration is such a powerful way to heal and to leave all your sadness worries anxiety at Jesus’ feet ! I hope you will try it out :)
My blessings have been so great! I have survived 4 heart Attacks, have liver disease, Kidney disease, and a Car accident that Broke 4 bones in my spine! I am a Chiropractor, and have lost everything in the past years! God has always been my rock at rock bottom. Some days seen so hard! Jesus is my light. Please pray for me.
I lost one of my twin boys this last year with all this craziness...he was sooooo perfect , an angel in all our lives ...I was and am still TOTALLY DESTROYED...BUT I know I must go on for my other son, he is an ANGEL...thank you Mike....these words of wisdom touched this almost dead heart today.... thank you
I have had more than my fair share of loss in this life, including my daughter who died from cancer in 2018. Katie was forty. I alone with her on her last night, which was a miracle in itself. I came away from this three year experience with gifts of gratitude, acceptance, and kindness - which I forget all the time. God gave me these gifts through Jesus. I am content. There is a whole bunch of stuff I wish never happened. But when I pray “thy will be done”, I surrender all to God and my Redeemer. That is perfection for me.
God be with you always, Maggie. When I lost my hubby 11 years ago, I threw myself into my career and my 2 young kids. Losing my hubby still hurts today; I can’t imagine losing a child. I pray Jesus wraps you in His tender loving arms every night until we see our loved ones again in heaven.
Ange , how kind of you. We are told time heals all wounds, right? Not really. I mostly feel numb. I try to think of my grief as an immediate connection to Mother Mary and Jesus’s love. I am so grateful to have been Katie’s mom. She was such a sweet girl. There really aren’t any words that can fix any of this, so I pray. And I will keep you and your family in my prayers too. And I thank God for the kindness of others who know about loss. Thank you so much.
I wanted to think of myself when I saw this video and clicked on it, but instead I thought of the Lord Jesus. He gave everything knowing that there would be those who would not accept Him and would not love Him. What a risk!!! I’m so thankful that I am able to love Jesus and that He loves me. Any of my sufferings couldn’t be compared to what He went through for me, for us.
I needed this. All within this year. I lost my mother, had a major surgery, lost work, and in the middle of a divorce. But this message has lifted me up. Thank you Father.
Father Mike, words alone cannot even begin to tell you what an incredible job you did with this video. This to me is where you emptied your mind and your heart of our society, you begged the Heavenly Father to send the power of the Holly Spirit upon you to have such Wisdom, Compassion and Love for us your brothers and sisters through Christ. I pray all clergy to Humbly and with Charity go to Our Lord Our God to discern what He wants as passionately as you have shown through your vocation. Every day is a blessing because of Him, Thank you Father. +Michael A.M.D.G.
What a blessing today to begin my day listening to you Father Mike. You always inspire me to open my eyes, get out of bed and keep walking in hope. Jesus gives us hope every day to keep on going even in the lowest of times. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for hope.
"Life might not always be fair, but with Jesus Christ it is always good." That's exactly what I'm experiencing now. I needed this video. Thank you, Father Mike!
Onboard with everything you’re saying, Fr. Mike, but what if you’ve lost everything: a loved one, money, your health, everything, and friends and family are too scared of covid to open their home to you and take you in? Basically, you’re this century’s Job, in a time of pandemic to boot! I wish we could talk one-on-one, Fr. Mike, I need it so much right now. Love all your teachings here, you’re the closest our generation’s got to Archbishop Sheen!
Hang on to dad ie God the Father. Pray hard. Listen to what God says. Ask for prayer support from people. Develop Habakkuk like faith that trusts in God despite outside circumstances. Help other people as much as your circumstance allows as a minimum you can pray for them. For really bad times pray the Jesus prayer. Develop the practice of presence of god. Use Internet to reach out and contact people.
Guess what? I went through the same thing back in 2011. Picture this: your grandpa dies in February and his son, your uncle, promises to invite you to the funeral. He lies. Meantime, your dad is fighting the last stages of colon cancer with chemo but it's just keeping him alive because he was in stage 4 already when diagnosed. In November 2011, you get a brainstem stroke due to cancer radiation you had almost 20 years before. Since my family was reeling from my dad's death, which happened on Dec. 23, they allowed me to be homeless. Can you imagine going into a homeless shelter as a WOMAN? I was scared to DEATH I'd be attacked or something. Ninety percent of the homeless shelter population is men. And you are disabled and WHITE, so you are expected to WORK, WORK, WORK. I was in the shelters for three years while waiting for my SS disability. But I am resilient. Life is not fair...but God sure is. He's always there, walking with us and sending his angels to help. I had a couple of social workers help me out, plus a woman at the health department who called the judge after they approved my disability and I was still at the dang shelter! It takes you three months to tell the poor woman she's approved? UGH. Anyway, my point is, all these obstacles make you stronger. I know, I know, it's a cliche that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. BUT IT'S NOT A CLICHE. It's so true. With God, nothing is IMPOSSIBLE.
Know you are not alone. What you are speaking of is being broken. As you see and read through the loving comments to you the pains of this world are real. Sometimes the trials last more than months they can last years or decades. I can not say it is easy or will be easy... Even fair all the time. What I can say from personal experience God will be with you every step of the way. Like mentioned through the pain God brings moments that bring hope and relief. Will it always be the answers you are looking for, no. Even for me the broken sinner that I am it was enough to keep going. To endure the storm. My mother kept a picture of a tulip to remind her no matter how long the Winter Spring will eventually come. When broken with Christ we can be reforged.. Strengthened. Made beautiful. We learn empathy, endurance, patience. Like Paul to find peace in Jesus. Happiness is different from peace. It is fleeting like chasing a rainbow. Peace can be lasting despite circumstances. Jesus brings true lasting peace. You are loved and worthy of love. Jesus loves you just as you are. Unconditional love. May God give those struggling his loving peace and be with their thoughts and strengthen their faith through the deepest struggles. Amen.
This video spoke to me. My girlfriend lost her mother a couple months ago after a short 5 month battle with a rare and aggressive cancer. Please pray for all who loved her.
Wow!!! Just when I went through failure despite all my hardwork and I am so distraught .....and I kept telling myself it is not fair!!! I just needed this ... Thank you Lord. I need to wake up and move forward rather than mourn anymore on the past. Thank you Fr Mike 😊
I’ve lost 13 people, pet , relationship struggles, etc. in the last 14 years. At the absolute worse times, God has been my strength. (Two were suicides leaving everyone with no answers, just questions.)Still, God is there, Jesus is there. The Holy Mother is there. I know I would have been in far worse shape without this beautiful faith that shapes my life, holds me up when I feel I can no longer stand, and reminds me of the hope that I still have. I am so sad for those who do not have faith, who have lost hope. Thank you Father Mike for this talk.
I agree father Mike. But it's easier said than done to move on. I don't know if i said this before. But i witnessed the unexpected loss of our mother. And it shook me up so bad. That is going on two years and I'm still trying to get back on my feet from anxiety even while going through grief counseling. I'm glad you make these videos. It helps. And forgive me if I'm not that consistent with watching videos. But your videos are helpful. Thank you so much father Mike. Have a great day and God bless.
Life is not fair. We are living in a time when so many are doing what they think is right in their own eyes. As a Christian I am so completely grieved. Without Jesus I’m not going to make it through this nightmare. Lord Jesus, have mercy on me a sinner.
I am at the moment when i feel like everything is going against me. This video really helps me in navigating my feeling of helplessness. The Lord is ever so kind and merciful 👏
I’ve never needed one of these videos before. I’ve never been more miserable than I have been in the last month or so. This video was needed. I needed this. Thank you father. Thank you.
It's the living through it, for years and years and years without understanding and receiving no answers from God. How do you still walk about like a joyful Christian? That's a grace I pray for.
Losing a pet or a game in sports is not the same as losing everything. It can not teach you the same lessons, but the words of faith being shared still ring true when facing extreme grief. I've been there looking into the abyss of loss. Once broken we can be remade through Christ. It teaches true empathy and understanding. It teaches us endurance and faith. Life is not always fair. It can be painful. The world can be cruel. In the pain though God shows us he is with us if we open our eyes to his works. Be it a Godly friend, a stranger with a kind word, or even a video such as this one. God's love is with us even in the darkest times.
The sports loss, pet loss are subjective. Father Mike was just using these as examples. To me, sports will never be 'everything' or anywhere close so I can see that example being weak. However, experiencing loss through a sport and then waking up the next day going to practice and then going to your next game is how you overcome that loss which is why sports is a good example. I guess you really only understand stand this if you competed in anything. Losing is absolutely terrible, but instead of moping around - get to work and practice to get better. You can't give up, not on losing a game or a loved one - that is the point. Now for the pets, I lost my brother this past June and it was the hardest thing my family and I have gone through. He was my best friend and never left my side. The brother I was referring to, yes was a dog, yet my mom called him her son and I called him my brother. When I talked to him, I would say things like do you want to go for a walk brother? The relationship we developed with him was as if he was a human child. He died in my arms and while it was rough for a few weeks, we knew that this wasn't the end. And surprisingly, it felt kind of weird being able to move on so quickly. But the only reason this was possible is due to what Father Mike said, it is not the end. Some families do consider animals as everything, they live with you, you take care of them, feed them, pray with them, play with them, are happy with them, sad with them, everything. That is why losing pets is extremely difficult, no different than a human in which you had a deep relationship with. I know many people (I shared this video with them) who lost human family members are they are now in a place of despair. Some of them within a year and others 5+ years and they still are struggling. The loss of my brother was devastating but we only go through it because of our relationship with Jesus and that Jesus concured death.
@@SpaghettiNoob Please note my comment was not saying his message was not on point. Most of my family died to a drunk driver. Which led to other tragic events. Last year I lost my mother to a 10 struggle with dementia to which I was the sole caretaker and lost people I cared for. My words was to show how God can work miracles through anything..no matter the struggle. And no truly losing everything is different from losing in sports. Not having support. Only having Christ to lean on. In some ways it can be similar. In some ways not the same at all. Still we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. I mean no conflict with you. I understand your point and wish you peace.
@@SpaghettiNoob I have also, but I am sorry for you losing your beloved brother my niece calls her two cats her brothers as she is an only child. I saw my dad cry 3 x’s. After he identified my 21 year old eldest sister, he found my older brother and when my dog died he was my dad’s best friend. I wept too. I could not go to work for a few days as she was awesome. God bless! We all have loses at different stages of life.
Thank you Fr. Mike for speaking God's wisdom. You are truly God's shepherd to us here on earth. Listening to you is always worthwhile and enlightening. I write down your words that directly speak to my heart. Your message is always timely and helps me understand the ways of God. God bless you and keep you always.
I had a huge fight with Mumma Mary and Jesus today... I was not able to say that I won't come to you but I was like I am katti (child like way of saying I am cutting off) but then cried my heart out saying you know I would come to you no matter what. I am not sure of anyone does this, but me venting out to God, having a real conversation helps so much. I am at peace and I feel the problem being handled even if nothing has changed. I don't mean to be disrespectful to God. I don't have any intention of giving that message. Its just how I connected with God. Just like Mom and Dad
I hope you find peace and contentment in everything in your life thru Jesus and defended by Mary. Amen. Say that Rosary every day. Everyday. You never know how you are being helped until it suddenly happens.
Ahh, I try my hand at debate and persuasion with God too. So funny, I’m such a fool. Who knows better? I’m struggling and sometimes when arguing I can “see” His smile/smirk. 😂 my advice? Lol, Surrender.
I needed this one I lost my job last yr due to pandemic and I got repeated failures in job application this year even I was recalled to my last job but realized it's only temporary so tried to apply again and got an invitation for an interview on Monday plus got an online exam for another application. These was my small victories so far and I savor it with a slim hope of landing it this time in God's Grace.
I've experienced this. I group up in lots of comfort since birth, but lately, I've lost family members, comfortable housing, close friends in my immediate vicinity, access to outdoors/nature, and maybe career potential. It hurts a lot up to now, but I think what God is doing is that he is stripping me of these things so that I do not idolize them over Him. Oddly enough, I can see that God is helping me to become stronger and more peaceful throughout trials, even if it still hurts.
Thank you for reminding us that Jesus went thru the worst humiliation, injustice, and death, and He going thru it, shows love, life, and God are infinitely more powerful than the worst.
We always had pets, did sports it taught me discipline swimming 5 hours a day before and after school. My sister was a gymnast and my brother was a natural in track. My eldest was a bookworm but, loved to hand sew quilts etc. Gosh, when my 2 dogs died we wept like babies. The vet was even crying once for a pet. As a kid having soda on the weekend was our treat and one chocolate bar. It was special for us. My dad would drive us to get our fave soda. In 🇨🇦 we call it pop.
I haven't watched yet but...a recent revert (thanks Fr Mike, for the help along the way!) And I'm looking forward to this video, especially today. Today we learned that my husband may not be able to receive the chemo he needs. I feel crushed in a way and have been recalling the need to trust Him even when things aren't going the way I asked. That He has shown me many times, that his plan is better than what I thought. 🙏🙏
He definitely isnt either lol. his setup for our original sin and his selective treatment of humans everywhere are both blatant examples of absolute lack of fairness
I needed this today. I have suffered a lot of setbacks in my recovery from long covid. I hold on to God for strength to wake up and try again. God is my HOPE.
I lost LITERALLY everything... I was homeless for a year in the city ... I lost it all...my apartment...my job...my income and thusly my money ... My children... My family... My clothing...even my cigarette lighter ... It was aweful. Especially having to sleep outside under interstate overpasses during the cold winter here in South Dakota... I didn't think it would ever end so tried to jump from the top of a 17 story hotel here in the city and was caught just as I was jumping 🥺
I lost something that meant everything to me as well. There's something sacred about great losses. When we experience them, we really are imitating Christ's crucifixion. Even if we deserve the loss, if we accept the cross, offer ourselves to Jesus, and trust in His mercy, there is great glory and merit in that. St. Dismas showed us this. This doesn't make things hurt less, or make life any more fair. But it is comforting to know that when we are at our most empty, God at least is being filled.
Thank you, Fr. Mike. You reminded me of hope in the midst of a long-time struggle in spiritual life, where I don't see a way out. Please, pray for me.. And prayers to all the others sharing their sufferings here..
Thank you Fr. Mike for sharing your encouraging insights and the beautiful analogy of Christ's death and resurrection to overcome our failures and losses.
Gratitude + humility has really helped me learn this. When you recognize that on our own merit we all deserve death everything in life becomes a gift not a debt being paid to you. 🌻
Man is "punished" with life because God the Father wants us to love Jesus, God the Son, who sacrificed Himself. Pain and suffering makes our hearts bigger so that man may love Jesus more!! I'm praying for you as you carry your Cross. Mary, pray for us.
@@DavidRodriguez-cm2qg that makes no sense at all. A lifetime of pain and the promise of eternal pain if I can't force myself to love the author of my pain is supposed to help me love Jesus?
@@leoncaruthers God is so powerful that he can transform barrenness and suffering into abundance and life. Dont be decieved by outward appearances look deeper there are gifts even in the dessert if you can awaken your heart.
@@leoncaruthers My story is very long--in fact, I'm writing my life story right now--but this is all I have to say. I had five seizures in high school where I had to go to the hospital. If I hadn't experienced that type of pain and suffering, I would be more self-centered and selfish than I was in the past. I understand if pain and suffering is difficult because it's caused by the sins of others, but if that pain and suffering is caused by your own sins, you need to think hard about your life. I wish I could help everyone, but I'm only one guy and I'm not God. I'll pray for now.
The point of jesus on the cross being the ultimate sign and not being fair, I think that is something that helped me a lot because I thought exctly yesterday why I who always went to altraservice as a kid and throughout my puberty and youth and always prayed eventhough none of my siblings were persistent had the least success in life because of schizophrenia with the age of 20. I am 28 now and I asked yesterday: why me ? This is not fair God!
This was a very compelling video. "A person who is strong in this kind of hope looks upon everything that comes along -- even mistakes and serious failures -- as being a chance not to be missed." --Dom Hubert van Zeller
Everyday is the worst day of my life. I reach new milestones all the time. I do remember a time when i was always happy. I had that! It slipped away. I am just really hoping that it counts toward my purgatory time. I will say that this video was very uplifting.
Thank you, Fr. Mike! This video speaks directly to me. I have just been through so many broken promises and betrayal (which really hurts) but now I know that it was God that got me through another day. Your video gave me a good cry and also remind me of God's closeness. Thank you so much and God bless you!
Thanks father Mike, I see God talking to me through you, thanks for being there telling Gods good will and perfect plan for us, to always have faith and complete trust in God. He is the way the truth and the life 🙏
Awesome and beautiful message Father, but also, a great REMINDER! to humble ourselves in the midst of our struggles and lift our EYES to GOD who brings HOPE and is the ANSWER to all our struggles and remain strong and keep moving forward. As I always tell my close friends "high waves and rough waters but no matter, keep moving forward because GOD will calm the waters in your LIVES. I had three cardiac arrest, had three major open heart surgeries in LA for a heart valve replacement and tumor removed in 2010/2019/2021 at age 34 and now 49, and lost 6 immediate loved ones and down to one sister left. I even had death experience as I stood at the GATES of HEAVEN. Indeed, no matter what comes my way or how rough it maybe....GOD is my REFUGE, my HOPE, and my STRENGTH and he will always RESCUE ME, all you have to do is SPEAK to GOD with FAITH, and he will answer. God Bless!
I pray for the faith shown in Habakkuk 3: Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. When everything goes wrong, let me rejoice in the Lord.
It is amazing how God works! This video was posted yesterday as our family was grieving the loss of our beloved uncle to COVID. With God there are no coincidences!! Father Mike, thank you so much for responding to God's call and spreading the good news. Please don't let this go to your head but you are a spiritual rock star!!!
I am not in a serious problem like all of the others, but a few days ago I got harassed online and I had a UA-cam channel. It was quite small but I loved it. It was my baby, I worked at it for over five years… due to continue harassing I had to delete the channel and change all of my users online. It’s been hard trying to cope with this. Thank you giving me more hope.
You can't lose what's most important--your relationship with God. Over the course of one summer, I had to quit my job, sell my house, I lost custody of my kids, had to move to another state, then move again to another state, and was basically steamrolled by life. But It all came right. I look back now, 20 years later and can see how all that was the answer to my prayers and positioned me to do some good for the Lord, which I had earnestly desired and prayed for. The dominoes fell, and I got a new house, my kids back, and a new, better job. Nothing matters as much as your relationship to Jesus.
It's a great lesson for humans young and old! And no, it's not pleasant but it makes you strong. Strong in your understanding, yes wisdom, strong in character, as well as, life is not always right and perfect. We must learn to deal with such days. Days that can bring sadness and tears but you become strong and understand what comes next and how to deal. Hard, very hard but very necessary!
My children and I lost everything in the 08 crash. My husband robed the equity for his own pleasures of the flesh. 13 years later, I keep asking God what He wants for us? Hope is the only virtue that keeps on ticking.
Thank you Fr. Mike Schmitz for every video that you do. They are filled with so much wisdom but more importantly they are filled with the Word of God. They fill me with so much hope. Thank you and God bless you!
This is so true, the worst day of my life July 12th 2019, it was one step, one second at a time but only by faith were those steps taken. Does it break my heart every day? Yes it does, but God has put people in my life, enhancing my faith and healing our family. Thank you 🙏
I fell in love with a Jewish young man. He vanished/apparently died 43 years ago. He didn't have a chance to convert. Can't stop loving him. God has planted the Cross in my heart. Thank God for the holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
God didn’t plant it. He has always offered peace and love. We live in a broken world but we are going forward to a perfect Heaven. All will be restored and as the Bible says, He will wipe away every tear. Multiple times Jesus cried for us. Our pain is His also. Comfort one another. You and Jesus.
Hi Father Mike. Your message is so timely. I just experienced a great loss of something and I will soon lose my dear aunt to ill health - 2 great loses! Thanks for this message of hope.
Yes I lost my very best for you friend his name was Dakota a sweet dog that opened my heart a tour that God used to bring me back to the church by answering a prayer for this sweet boy I received much healing from my connections to him took time to start praying to God as I walkedHim thankful to God
I asked the blessed mother to guide my feed and this video popped up. I've lost everything, my marriage, home, family, money, financial security when my husband left. I did nothing to deserve it.
I’ve lost everything material twice. It’s a blessing. As long as I’ve got God I’ve got all I need
God is everything, without Him we have nothing.
May god bless your soul ✝️❤
Thank you for share.❤️
Same here. I had to live out of my car and I was so grateful and thanked God for my car! Now I have a small farm and surrounded with everything I've ever wanted. If I lose everything again, I know it's all in God's plan. I don't worry!
Would love to pm you Maureen Redler
Amen.”
To the person that is having their worst day, month, year of their lives… I am with you we are with you and God is with you.
Oh my! Thank you so much!
I'm starting to lose my faith.
It almost feels like you're divinely intervening for me, Fr. Mike.
Please pray for me, brothers and sisters.
Hang on my dear!
Don't give up on God!
Regardless of what you're going through; Christ is The Way, The Truth and The Life! In the End Without Christ you miss out on Everything: the way, the truth an the life!
May God be with you!
Bro, praying for you.
Stay on the Cross. She heals.
Praying for you🙏
Praying for you! Putting your name in our God box
You will make it. St Paul went from a persecutor, to blind, to mistrusted, to chosen by God. God sees you my friend. We say life is a journey without understanding what we say. You will get there. Don’t worry, just prevail.
"Life may not always be fair, but with Jesus Christ it is always good."
Thank you for your wise words as always, Fr. Mike! 🙏🏻💛
Look at Job he lost everything and still persevered in his love for God.
"...not even death is the end..." Fr. Mike , great quote!
I was overwhelmed al most four years by the love of God as my wife died holding my hand as we prayed the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I still miss her presence everyday.
So sorry for your loss. God Bless you!
Oh Glenn, I am so sorry, I haven’t sufficient words. But the gift of being present as Our Lord called your wife home during the Chaplet is a gift to her as well as you. Stay strong, Our Lady surely has you wrapped in her mantle. God bless.
A very strong & beautiful prayer, have faith & know the peace that she may be in God's hand for eternity.
God bless you and may he heal your heart and soul. Prayers for you
Praise the Lord❤️Beautiful❤️
Father, you have no idea how much I needed this, it has been an excruciatingly painful week for me.
🙏
Same here. The Lord is kind and merciful.
Me too. The Lord is ever so loving and kind.
Praying for you🙏
Praying for you.
"One of the greatest lesson in life is that you can fail but it's not final
that you can lose and you're not lost"
Thanks Fr. Mike
Losing is not the end, just another start.
Bless you 💛
Same day i lost everything i was hoping for and asking God to visit me this uploads. That is called God's hand!! God bless Fr.Mike!
Thank you Father.
praying for you, friend.
Me 2, praying.
Praying for you Anthony
Gosh, that is a lot to deal with. I hope you are finding strength and peace in this part of your journey. Sending love and best wishes 🕯💕
Thank you. I'm Protestant and that blessed me immensely.

What a blessing today to begin my day listening to you Father Mike. You always inspire me to open my eyes, get out of bed and keep walking in hope. Jesus gives us hope every day to keep on going even in the lowest of times. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for hope.
After a terrible day yesterday, waking up and hearing this message was exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you Father, God bless you.
Same here...
Same for me
"Life might not always be fair, but with Jesus Christ it is always good." That's exactly what I'm experiencing now.
Amen.
@@areacode3816 Thank you. Amen.
@@areacode3816 how beautiful! It makes me happy to know you’re in the world! God bless you. 👍🏻😇
This video spoke to me. My girlfriend lost her mother a couple months ago after a short 5 month battle with a rare and aggressive cancer. Please pray for all who loved her.
Really needed to hear this Fr. Mike. Thanks for being a real one.
Wow!!! Just when I went through failure despite all my hardwork and I am so distraught .....and I kept telling myself it is not fair!!!
I just needed this ... Thank you Lord. I need to wake up and move forward rather than mourn anymore on the past.
Thank you Fr Mike 😊
I’ve lost 13 people, pet , relationship struggles, etc. in the last
14 years.
What!!
thank you to ALL for your witness. Hope is tough to find without encouragement. 🙏 you All!
Sorry for your losses 🕯💕
This message I needed. Thank you, Father Mike. God bless you ❤
Thank you Fr Mike 🌟
Jesus Christ is present in all the seasons in our life.
Everyone who belongs to Jesus Christ has hope and courage.🌈🌻
I’ve never needed one of these videos before.
I’ve never been more miserable than I have been in the last month or so. This video was needed. I needed this. Thank you father. Thank you.
Keep up with your prayers my friend 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm so sorry.
I'm praying for you!!!!
@@DavidRodriguez-cm2qg Things are gradually improving for the first time in a while. Thank you for your prayers.
@@g.weg.3723 If I could help everyone out, I could. Still praying.
Amen, I say to you, amen! It will surprise you during crisis who abandons you and who steps up.
@@areacode3816 sorry for you multiple losses. No contention here. May peace be with you friend.
This touched my soul, thank you father Mike
I talk to Him more than, even my animals... lol and I talk to them a lot, too! 🤍
@@Donna-cc1kt Yes, the smirk! lol 🤍
“Three days later He got up”!! Incredible teaching! Thanks be to God for using Father Mike to speak His truth 🙏🏻
Thank you Fr. Mike…. This was beautiful and necessary today
Through the spirit of the lving God dwelling within oneself, we start new after a loss, making sure that is not final.
I feel like this video was made exactly for me… word for word everything hit my heart directly 🥺🙏🏻💕 thank you Father
thank you Fr Mike
This one of the best commentaries for our times. I will share with my children and grandchildren. Thank you Fr. Mike
Life is not fair but God is. He will justify everything, for those who are His.
He definitely isnt either lol. his setup for our original sin and his selective treatment of humans everywhere are both blatant examples of absolute lack of fairness
Reminds me of the story of Job. We must be prepared to lose everything but your faith in Christ.
God bless you Father Mike
Thank you Fr. Schmitz for being Christ's voice for us....Stay blessed....
I needed this today. I have suffered a lot of setbacks in my recovery from long covid. I hold on to God for strength to wake up and try again. God is my HOPE.
His videos move me so deeply. Praise God. Thank you so much Fr. Mike. God bless you.
Profound.. I will cherish this one Fr. Mike. God certainly is always good. 🕊️🌅✝️
Message is so true it made me emotional.
Amén 🙏🏻
Gratitude + humility has really helped me learn this. When you recognize that on our own merit we all deserve death everything in life becomes a gift not a debt being paid to you. 🌻
If we deserve death, why does He punish us with life?

Indeed, no matter what comes my way or how rough it maybe....GOD is my REFUGE, my HOPE, and my STRENGTH and he will always RESCUE ME, all you have to do is SPEAK to GOD with FAITH, and he will answer.

I pray for the faith shown in Habakkuk 3:
Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Your videos are incredible Fr Mike!
Don't give up -we await the Joy and Happiness in the Eternal world that has no sadness or loss, but Fulfillment Forever :)
God bless you Fr. Mike. Very timely.

Hi Father Mike. Your message is so timely. I just experienced a great loss of something and I will soon lose my dear aunt to ill health - 2 great loses! Thanks for this message of hope.
Thanks!
You have no idea how much I needed to hear this today. Thank you!
Yes I lost my very best for you friend his name was Dakota a sweet dog that opened my heart a tour that God used to bring me back to the church by answering a prayer for this sweet boy I received much healing from my connections to him took time to start praying to God as I walkedHim thankful to God
I love the message. Struggle brought me closer to God. It can be bittersweet.
I asked the blessed mother to guide my feed and this video popped up. I've lost everything, my marriage, home, family, money, financial security when my husband left. I did nothing to deserve it.
Father Mike, in a difficult life your videos always inspire to hope and adjust my compass. Thank you for this.
This is deep. Religious or Not people should listen to this guy. 💥👏💥
I needed this today. Thank you, Father.
