Here's where I get confused - and I'm far from a prude about college gymnastics, as anyone who's seen my channel can attest - but Alabama KNOWS that at every home meet there's going to be a family sitting on that couch in that particular spot, with little kids. So WHY, if you're the Bama coaching staff, do you choreograph Nickie Guerrero (for example) to do butt stuff and sexy stuff right in that area of the floor, aimed directly at the family with kids everyone at Bama has to know is going to be sitting there? It's just idiotic.
I agree not really appropriate for that spot, but Alabama also puts their cheerleaders and student section in that area, which is probably why they choreograph it there since part of your score is determined by how well you connect with the audience.
