Love it! I feel like the goal should always be to create “real” films with scenes and dialogue and a story to impact the audience but alot of us me included settle and get stuck at the 20 second reels of beauty b roll when being a filmmaker is so much more than that. Loved the video, keep it up!
its been 6 months since i started following you , you never ceases to amaze me . thanks for putting out the work boys. i am 20 now and your videos has inspired me to know more about film making and sooner or latter i will also start this process.
Your creativity is expanding! It is fascinating to get a glimpse behind the scenes of your creative process. I appreciate the content and the calming atmosphere it conveys. It would be awesome if you did a live Q&A sometime! 👍
thankyou so much for this !! im 16 and trying to get into film making as more of a hobby rn (cuz i cant have that as my career)(strict parents) and this is suuper useful!!!
i really resnonated with the dialougs from the clip at 2:59 and I first saw the scene in a reel and saved. It is a very info video for starting out flimmakers like me. thanks
i'm about to be a senior in HS in the fall and am thinking about film school or double majoring in film and something else--did you choose not to go to college after high school, or did you major in something else besides film? is there anything you would recommend with regards to higher education as an artist/filmmaker?
it’s hard to give advice on this because there’s so many factors involved. It is definitely possible to learn and practice your craft without school but sometimes it makes sense to go to film school depending on what speciality you’re interested in. i would just say to take a lot of time thinking and researching and ultimately follow your gut feeling
Algorithm brought me here, I'm a 23 year old filmmaker all the way in Nigeria, thank you for the advice.
