Words can't even begin to describe how much i adore this video - I have watched this twice and I yearn for friends that can handle this level of craziness. I love poetry but the people I am with think it's awfully depressing - oh god - hope i find friends like this - love this !
The original by phillip linnik is just it, the level of feeling he's putting into that poem, all of you Great job keep it up and pleas part two soon, make this a series form a real club it's fun
Is this what love at first sight feels like? I think i love this video. I want this video on a paper in my wallet together with pictures of my dog. Things that make me love life is what i love. This video makes me love life.
Y'all should read Dostoyevsky together too. I took a Dostoyevsky class with a professor so enthusiastic about his writing that it was contagious for all of us, and our discussions and reading his works really had an impact on us. We read White Nights (about a young man who is a dreamer but isolated and alone), Notes from the Dead House (autobiographical about the author's time in prison for reading forbidden literature in a radical group), Notes from Underground, Crime and Punishment, Demons, and The Brothers Karamazov, his final masterpiece. That class was my Dead Poets Society equivalent experience with how deep we got.
You do things like this!? What kind of moments have you had as a literature student? I really want to go to college and am considering literature. I would love this sort of experience with others. Any advice?
@@Lizzye33 I am a student majoring in English Literature. Classes are as critical and similar to movies like DPS and such. The thing is that when you actually STUDY literature , you begin to undrestand and feel all these sort of things said in movies like this one. Generally this major provides students with so much enjoyment, undrestanding and indsight toward life. This major sincerely gives you perspective. Over all, it is a great 4-year experience for the lovers of prose and poetry. I saw your reply by chance and thought to share my experience with you. Hope it helps a little and I wish you the best of luck.
i was gigling and laughing through half of this as if i am part of it, as if im there. this video healed something in me, really. its been quite some time since i laughed wholeheartedly. thanks guys. plus yall match the theme of the movie itself so much that it looks like as if its some bonus scene from the movie. Love, Moona.
As someone who adores Dead Poets Society with my soul, I Loved this video. Hilarious, but also for some reason comforting. The cinematography was so similar to the original film, not to mention all the quote references, and you managing to capture what DPS is about in the first place. The bond between humans that can't be faked. Keep up the awesome videos and God bless. :] 💙
This was beautiful. I know some of it was funny and all, but seriously I love what you're doing here and I'm very curious where I can find people in my life like you, most people I know will go "eww poetry cringe" and yeah it's funny for a while, but after some time it gets lonely. Thank you for carrying that flame in the darkness.
thank you, i didn’t want to make it all depressing or vice versa. tried to balance all the emotions to portray life. I’m thinking of starting an online poetry club, and hopefully connect and build in person communities🖤
@@ElizStarkMe too, I tried to translate my poems to english and even write in english, but it's soo hard for me. At the moment writing in polish forever. Maybe I try again when I improve my english
@@Alicja_August I tried to translate my poems too but it doesn't give the same effect in English. So I can only translate my poems that don't rhyme. And yet it is not like the original. (Mine are Turkish btw). And even the idea of writing a poem in English when your mother tongue is not English is brave. I'm sure your poems are beautiful! I would like to read it. But you know, the language problems lol 😅
I cannot help but admit that THIS right here, is no less than art. this was powerful, extremely powerful. the sheer passion and initiative is, wow. i see humans being humans. whoever you all are, please continue doing this. let's continue sucking the marrow out of life. because 'words and ideas can change the world', remember?
This is beautiful. In all seriousness, this is incredible. The ambience, your poems, the feelings that you evoke when reading them, and when reading Shakeaspear's work. It's melancholic, but in such a lively way. I adore it. And this paired with your humour, the editing, the places where you were, the clothes that you wore, and these little raw moments that we can see here, it's perfection. Thank you very much for this!❤️
This is so cool and new on social media. It gives us a break from the constant bombardment of tightly packed content. Its also wierdly nostalgic. What happend these past few years? Like i was in a trance.. Im here to follow this journey

oh, I absolutely love this. how I crave to experience this kind of love, friendships and poetry ofc. this is adorable phil! please go on making these videos and experiencing this what you are doing!
I am so amazed by your own creativity! It was so refreshing to see another side which is raw and realistic. You never fail to make me intrigued by any kind of content you present and it says so much about you that you are a person who will portray your frame work. And I got to tell you that i loved Timmy and the gentlemen who put their spirit in the video which made it sincere. Thank you so much for sharing your story and for all the poems we heard that touched us in a special way. Thank ms keating (you are a combination of nail and John). To sum up what I learned. I want also to share my own poem. “I am my own person by design yet with all these emotions I don’t know which one is mine and it makes my feel like I am in a prison where being emotional is out of the line.”said me
I cannot describe with words the way this video made me feel. It felt so unique, so heartfelt, so fun, so real. Each and everyone of you is amazing. Consider me subscribed!!!
