I'm fortunate enough to have landed a job position as a Hotel Manager for a very busy City Centre hotel in the heart of Dublin, Ireland, so watching and listening to you carry out your day to day operation and what advice you would give in relation to administration and the key(s) to success has been very knowledgeable and a great insight for me. I hope everything went well with the promotion and all the best for the future.
Hiii…. What course did you Study.
@@abigailtetteh5604 hotel and hospitality management
Hi
Excellent! I hope she gets promoted if she is true to her word which sounds like she is.
i must say, her way of explaining is so nice. i learnt a lot from her. i also want to work at a hotel and i am searching more information about it, but this video explains a lot!
Natalie! You are absolutely fabulous! I learned so much from this video. I was sad it was over, and I soaked up everything you said like a sponge. On the flip side, I have an interview for AGM coming up, and I'm really beginning to wonder if I have what it takes. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to do this video. CHEERS!
Wow really learnt a lot from her. Especially admirable about her work ethic and compassion towards people and art. What a humble personality as well, no wonder she gets to be assistant GM at such a young age. Where is the part 2? I would love a follow-up :))
I really liked her insight on the position challenges and possible foibles. I also really love her hair 👍
Awesome interview Natalie, i wish you all the best in the hospitality industry.
Very helpful info
Thanks for sharing
I work for Hyatt in uptown Charlotte we have 172 rooms but my old property in Myrtle Beach had +600 rooms.
LeoFloresTV is it worth it?
Interesting to see how large accounting looms in her job description. The fundamental skills of Rooms Division , F&B Housekeeping and Catering are not mentioned at all. Her background, reservations is interesting as it aligns with accounting of course. For someone to become a GM in a hotel those skills were required and most fundamental.
I want this to be my career
93 rooms? That's it?? Cakewalk.
Thank you for sharing!

Nice work natalie
Great description!
65k In NY? Good luck.
I have to be outgoing? Damn….
I have a hotel management course with a diploma and in my country nobody hires me because i have no experience in management ... I have a 20 year experience in hotel reception and i can`t advance because all the old managers do not release their jobs .

"It's a really gd job if you wanna travel and get to know different locale"
Is the hotel profitable? Do the owner make more than the GM?
Yes owner make so more,
You try to give the video more brightness it will be great if you do
I like her hair
Thank you
Very good
Diploma Hotel Asst Manager also become in Genting job hotel resort only
Training Asst New Manager also hotel office assistant also small problem also
Is the work 5 or 6 days a week?
Just curious. Do hotel managers work during Saturdays and Sundays?
Typically yes. But that is very dependent on what market you are in. If you serve a leisure market then yes the manager or assistant manager will work weekends but in a business/corporate market there aren't very many reasons to work on the weekends due to travelers arriving primarily on the weekdays.
@@jaspergraham4438 thanks for your informative reply sir.
In general, if you want weekends off, this might not be the industry you want to get into.
As a GM, you can come on a weekend every now and then depending on business needs however your typical work week is Monday-Friday
How much u earn in one month

65k isnt much....
It is a lot tho
@ImaCoward124 still isnt much
@@Consst 65k for an assistant GM position in a BOUTIQUE hotel??? shes extremely lucky to make that much, that is a lot for what she does at that kind of hotel.
@@alexr417 still isnt much... the GM in the peninsula makes minimnum 200k +
@@Consst missing the point. Small hotel, assistant position, and only 30 years old?? That's cheddar for where she's at. You don't just get to jump right into making 200k.. Which hardly any GMs will ever see yearly in their life
