Nice, its understandable that everything slows down in terms of getting records. While I join your streams sometimes, I see a lot of resets happen because most of the tricks the runs fail at are one frames or hard strats in general. It takes some extreme dedication to keep trying to push the record below a hard set goal as you are doing it. Thanks for giving us an update on your future plans too :)
The GDQ situation was crucial to our game's history but yeah, much better to cover it now that they've extended an olive branch since it happened - and I got to run the game in the event again.
This video helped me reflect on me trying to push my own speedgame to its limits and what it really is and how much dedication is truly required. It also helped me reflect on times I'd get WR potential runs going but they'd die to RNG and what not. But it has taught me important lessons about speedrunning, I almost consider it to be a sport too. I really like BFBB, the tricks are really unique and it separates itself from a lot of other speedgames. I've also never seen this much dedication coming from a speedrunner at all. Continue to do what you do best and GL on all the BFBB grinds :D
At the end you talk about there not being very many sorta time milestones left for the community to get really hyped about. One thing I thought was the question of are you going to try to get a sub 1 hour 100% run after you get a sub 40 in any%? I think that 100 is still relatively unoptimized in comparison to any% and it'd be a fun way of having the community get hyped to see a milestone that allows us to see more of the game (over the years so much of it has been cut out for max SPEED lol). Just curious to hear your thought on that, thanks.
That probably wouldn't happen for at least another 5 years minimum, if ever. But I plan on keeping the run around. As it stands we would need to find 5 minutes of strategies to make that feasible which at this point could very well just not happen.
Its kinda sad to see any% finally hitting a wall when it comes to optimization. Been on and off with this game for a long while now and never could have imagined times getting so low for the category. Happy to hear the explained vids are coming back, i am curious how much will be explained since theres so many micro optimizations, especially pre cruise boost, so basically every second there will be something to explain lol. Looking forward to all that comes next, keep being you man.

i remember wyen the runs were at or a little under an hour and its crazy i believe it was 2021-2022ish but man shit flies
At an hour and even the 57 minute records were 7-8 years ago. It REALLY flies!
