Wasted Youth I remember everything I remember every little thing as if it only happened yesterday I was barely seventeen, and I once killed a boy with a Fender guitar I don't remember if it was Telecaster or Stratocaster But I do remember that it had a heart of chrome, and a voice like a horny angel I don't remember if it was Telecaster or Stratocaster But I do remember that it wasn't at all easy It required the perfect combination of the right powerchords And the precise angle from which to strike! The guitar bled for about a week afterwards And the blood was, ooh, dark and rich, like wild berries The blood of the guitar was Chuck Berry red The guitar bled for about a week afterwards But it rung out beautifully And I was able to play notes that I had never even heard before So I took my guitar And I smashed it against the wall I smashed it against the floor I smashed it againt the body of a varsity cheerleader Smashed it against the hood of a car Smashed it against a 1981 Harley-Davidson The Harley howled in pain The guitar howled in heat And I ran upstairs to my parents bedroom Mommy and Daddy were sleeping quietly in the moonlight Slowly I opened the door Creeping into the shadows right up to the foot of their bed I raised the guitar high above my head And just as I was about to bring the guitar crashing down upon the center of the bed My father woke up, screaming "STOP"l "Wait a minute, stop it boy! What do you think you're doing?"l "Thats no way to treat an expensive musical instrument" And I said "Goddamn it, Daddy" "You know I love you, but you've got a hell of a lot to learn about rock 'n' roll"
My Dad played this for me in my baby years and has stuck with for the past 34 years. Sad to say my Dad has become the type of person who hates this type of music now. Such a shame. I'll carry the torch for him.
I'm not so sure about that once you love a band you always hold a special place for them in your heart or at least I always do when I stop listening to a band group or artist I'm just getting older and my tastes are changing a little bit
I REMEMBER EVERYTHING! Back then my brother and I listened to that story in the beginning thinking it was a spooky story about Vampires and madmen...and we were thrilled.. Years later and some english in school I realized we were god damn close😂
When I was about 14 years old, I wanted to run away from home I did not do it, but this song would have been the soundtrack for my escape Now, 27 years later, I am finally free

This song really make our travelling so much fun. The intro is absolutely dramatic, I can easily imagine a picture.. but imagine the delight of the children and shout louder gd'mt daddy, i love you but you gotta... thank you
I'm seeing all these Gen Xers, whereas I'm a Gen Z who was raised on meatloaf and the 70s and 80s hits radio channel, cause that's all my momma would listen to lol
I have a request if you wouldn't mind converting: type in YT search bar Remastered version I'll Be Alright Without You Journey. Think you could convert that into 432 hz if you don't mind? Thanks you!
Wasted Youth
I remember everything
I remember every little thing as if it only happened yesterday
I was barely seventeen, and I once killed a boy with a Fender guitar
I don't remember if it was Telecaster or Stratocaster
But I do remember that it had a heart of chrome, and a voice like a horny angel
I don't remember if it was Telecaster or Stratocaster
But I do remember that it wasn't at all easy
It required the perfect combination of the right powerchords
And the precise angle from which to strike!
The guitar bled for about a week afterwards
And the blood was, ooh, dark and rich, like wild berries
The blood of the guitar was Chuck Berry red
The guitar bled for about a week afterwards
But it rung out beautifully
And I was able to play notes that I had never even heard before
So I took my guitar
And I smashed it against the wall
I smashed it against the floor
I smashed it againt the body of a varsity cheerleader
Smashed it against the hood of a car
Smashed it against a 1981 Harley-Davidson
The Harley howled in pain
The guitar howled in heat
And I ran upstairs to my parents bedroom
Mommy and Daddy were sleeping quietly in the moonlight
Slowly I opened the door
Creeping into the shadows right up to the foot of their bed
I raised the guitar high above my head
And just as I was about to bring the guitar crashing down upon the center of the bed
My father woke up, screaming "STOP"l
"Wait a minute, stop it boy! What do you think you're doing?"l
"Thats no way to treat an expensive musical instrument"
And I said "Goddamn it, Daddy"
"You know I love you, but you've got a hell of a lot to learn about rock 'n' roll"
Has to be one of the #1 song intro's to this day..
The legend who had it both: "a wasted youth" and "a wise and productive old age"!❤

God damn it Meatloaf! You know I love you, but you had to learn the hard way that there was a hell of a lot know to about vaccines!
I didn't know that was the cause of his death
@@_Agusia_432Hz it wasn’t, died of complications with COVID, not the vaccine
