@@axolotl09 According to "The International Automotive Encyclopedia of 2010" you could have googled that shit in the same time you asked me that question.
Audi is actually one of the few brands that still use a lot of physical buttons. And the passenger screen can actually control the main infotainment, so if you have a passenger on a road trip you can talk about taking detours or add pit stops along the route without having to interrupt the current navigation. The passenger can basically act as co-pilot. Anyway, those cars are silly expensive, so you really need to drive a lot to justify getting one.
Bro if they are they should never be allowed to drive. Crazy how some people are stupid enough to think that this feature doesn’t work because you can just “lean over”
Woah, interesting technology, i wonder how it works. Is there 2 lights, one in the middle of screen, for passenger and the second one is on the right side, for driver?
Now some of you guys are saying the screen costs 4000 usd to fix in 1 year. First of all the car's dealership will need to fix it for free under warranty cuz you didn't break it. Now. When yall say the mechanics will have fun, who buys a 60 thousand dollar car and takes it to a third party mechanic to fix it? If the driver has to lean over and they'll cause a crash, on a technicality, THAT'S THEY'RE FAULT. Yall need to remember this is a safety feature. Some people commented and said, remember when you used to talk to each other on road trips. Just because this tech exists, doesn't mean anybody's forcing you to use it.
Some people are stating that people used to talk to eachother before and how this is not fun at all. But let me tell you there are people who can't focus on doing two things at once, talking with the person next to you and focusing on the wheel, the passenger being quiet is probably helpful. And some people like to drive without any noise interruption (aka dads on a road trip, jk maybe most dads i know) and thats the reason why a lot of cars back then, and some cars still do have screens in the backseat, so having one in the front seat is also great! Trust me I know, especially with children, i give them activities such as eye spy, give me ten fruits that are green etc, road car game, colouring and reading books, but they'd get bored of it if they've been playing for a while, so this, at least for me is great
Man I really like Audis, I have an A6 myself, I don’t know if it it’s s just me but my previous generation looks better inside than the new stuff, the new models look like a freaking Kia feels cheap as heck.
@ You're right, there were more options. For example, the screen can display different content. Audi, on the other hand, simply displays content. You can Google it: the name of this feature was split view
for those who dont understand, when driving the vehicle doesnt allow you to see the video, not wanting you to get disitracted *BUT* the passenger can still see the video played.
"bro watch this"
"I can't see it"
