  • In this Tuesday tutorial, I will be making a unique set of earrings. I hope you enjoy this tutorial and you end up making your own unique jewelry, whether it be earrings or even a necklace! If you have any questions, please let me know by leaving a comment, and I'll try my best to respond.

    18-GA (frame)
    24-GA (small bits for wrapping)
    any bead/gemstone
    20-GA (french hook)

      @@4girlsjewelry AGREED!!!. I LOVE HOW YOU CALL THEM BONES.......THAT'S MY HUSBANDS NAME!. SO YOU KNOW I WAS ALL OVER THIS ONE, and I have an idea for when I ( hopefully) can learn it. I'm still trying herringbone...omg, it does not like me, But, I have done over 40 pieces practicing and I think I'm just now...MAYBE starting to get it. I watch your link, chain and herringbone pendants OVER AND OVER X's 100. I think I might be doing it to tight. Idk. Practice practice practice.     Just when I think you can't possibly do a piece I love more, you do! I do have a question, do you use liver of sulfur before you wrap? Also, do you use any type finished on your pieces? Thank you for being so generous with your talents.

      I always use liver of sulfur after I finish whole project and use ProtectaClear as a sealer to prevent tarnishing ( from Everbrite)

    Hello, so I thought I bought raw copper and when I tried to burn it, it did nothing at all except saw it turning silver. Can you recommend a place where you get your wire from . Thank you

      I collect old electrical wires , they r 99 % pure copper
      For sterling i use Rio Grande

      I takes about half inch or less, depends on how much u hold ur wire in flame

    Just wanted to tell you Happy Easter Tanya. All cleaned up, decided to do some jewelry before bed. Trying to get this wire wrapping thing down. Made my own little linking component, I just have to figure out how to wire them together. 2 more days. I am on my tippy toes. 2 more days ......what will it be ????CHAINS???? LAST WEEKS NECKLACE COMPONENT. U ALWAYS KEEP US EXCITED. I'M GOING TO ASK MY HUSBAND TO GET ME SOMETHING OUT OF YOUR SHOP FOR MOTHERS DAY, and a salad spinner. Night 🌙 see ya Tuesday 😘

    So you have to either finish the ‘bones’ once attached to the coiled piece or try and attach each bone as you make the coil? Is this correct? This part isn’t explained in this tutorial.

    A question regarding your torch: Does the flame automatically stop when you take your finger off the gas button? Or do you have to use your hand to turn the knob off?

    So cool. what trips me out is that the wire looks thicker than what is stated in the description. must be the closeup that does that. idk. I have started using my torch. I have Orca torch. My ball ends do not get so big as yours. I saw your way of putting he wire very close to the torch but that does not work with my torch. I have to use the tip of the blue flame to get the wire to ball up but the balls don't get big. I will keep practicing.

      Use thicker wire:) i love 16 GA a lot… because it’s donated copper, it’s hard to know GA sometimes

      It’s copper, and i use old electrical wires
      When I work with sterling i use half hard for frames and dead soft for weaving, same for copper if u order ur wires I would recommend ( works for me)

      ♥️ lots of gems and stones I get from interGem ( check when they have shows in ur town) I love to see stones, touch them, so that is why i go to this shows and ALWAYS coming home with new selections:):):)

      I live in a very small town and not many gem, rock or mineral shows. There are some in other counties but with gas prices it's hard to get to them. Can you order from the place you get your gems and beads from?
