what i don't get, we brothers would like to marry sister with hijab but there are some sisters with hijab that say "I don't like beard." ...how that makes any sense...may Allah forbid it is like we brothers say "I don't like hijab." it should be otherwise...i see a lot of sisters in hijab married to guy's without beards and brothers with beards are not married...that is so messed up...inšAllah we brothers will find those who will know why we grow beard and respect us for it...selam
I totally agree with you... My husband look handsome (masha Allah) after he started to follow our Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), AlhamdhuliLlah. Whoever follows the true religion - ISLAM, they can surely feel Allah's mercy on them.. And they are on the path of SUCCESS....
astaghfirullah, we are not blind follower of any scholar. We need to see that narration where it is mentioned that companions wouldn't look at men who shaved his beard for fear that they start having desire for him. As far as i know, there is no authentic narration like that. And this is kinda lie, fabrication upon companions radhiAllahu anhum. If anyone has an evidence, then bring it in front.
As Salam Alaykum wr wb . Bro Khalid is for every respect but distinction is connected for polytheists not really for women,at least according to hadith, there is more of them for growing beard but this one clearly put on reason, Sahih Bukhari and Muslim : "Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) that he said: "Do otherwise than those who ascribe partners to Allah (al-mushrikin): leave beards be, and trim mustaches."
Indeed he's the most merciful! But it doesn't mean that you are given the license to sin!? You have to follow the commandments of Allaah, the Almighty and follow the authentic Sunnah of the last and final messenger of Almighty Allaah (SWT) .
uno brothers, their is great wisdom in growing the beard. we think women like men who look neat, clean shaven, pretty, fashionable and soft. the truth is, deep down, ALL women actually find rough, tough, scrubby, unshaven, unkempt and bold and daring men attractive. that's their natural instinct to like us like that.
we would like to see what is the mawqoofan narration where it is mentioned that sahaba radhiAllaahu anhum ajmaeen wouldn't see at men without beard for the reason br. Khalid Yasin has said. We are the men of evidence, would like to see those evidence. If anyone knows the narration with evidence, book name, and raqam number and what is the muhaditheen view on that narration. Please tell us. JazakumAllahu khayran.
THIS is wrong. Everything this man put it in the trash. The sahaba would not have desire for other men. Let us seek refuge in Allah from the shaytan. Subhanallah. This inflammatory upon the sahaba and their behaviors.
To be honest sister if you would take a smooth faced brother over a brother who made the effort to keep the sunnah of the Prophet (SAW) then quite frankly you deserve whatever comes with that smooth face brother.
Okay, that was a salafi answer. you know he's salafi when he says, "And there's no disagreement among the 'ulama (scholars). There is some deviation amongst some of them. There's no differences among them as to whether the beard itself is wajib upon the man who is able to grow one."
Exactly! According to Schafii fiqh it's makruh to shorten it and it gets more makruh the more you take from it. Even if you shave complete, this will be highly makruh but not haram. So he is literally calling Schafii Ulamā deviant.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO MAKE THE BEARD GROW STRAIGHT. I HAVE JUST STARTED GROWING MY BEARD (FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS NOW) AND IT HAS GONE QUITE CURLY ESPECIALLY FROM THE SIDEBURNS (LOOKS ABIT LIKE JEWS BEARD). IS THERE ANY TIPS OR ANYTHING I CAN PUT ON? I AM OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS. JAZAKHALLAH KAIRUN
Khumurخُمُرٌ is plural of khimarخِمَارٌ, the veil covering the head. Al-Munjid, which is the most popular dictionary in the Arab world, defines al-khimar as “something with which a woman conceals her head-ما تغطى به المرأة رأسها .” Fakhru ’d-Din al-Turayhi in Majma‘u ’l-Bahrayn (which is a dictionary of Qur’anic and hadith terms) defines al-khimar as “scarf, and it is known as such because the head is covered with it. The word khimar, by definition, means a piece of cloth that covers the head.
Salam Aleikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu :) I TOTALLY AGREE with you 1 MILLION %. The same goes for a man. Unfortunately, people confuse cultural behaviour & habits with Islamic behaviour & etiquette. Growing he beard is Fard. Even if it's not a big beard, but we're still supposed to let it grow & keep it trimmed up, neat & clean. Allahu Allam. Glad to see a sister understand why us brothers MUST have a beard for the sake of ALLAH (SWT) & the teachings of Nabi Muhammad (SAAW).
He is way of. Allah swt never cursed men who look like women or women who look like men. he cursed men who ACT like women or purposely dress like them. If a man is born with a feminine manner/appearance then its by the will of allah swt and allah swt has made everyone in the best shape and form.
I even get laughed out by the foreigner because of my hijjab when I walk in the beach, but what can I say they don't have the knowledge, could we blame them? and the answer would be a no.... But since I can't suddenly give him a preach about Islam, I can only be patient about it. Defend your sister and brother for the honor of Islam not for the honor of yourself.... because God will give you the fair reward. Amiin... I pray to Allah SWT to give you a good spouse that you deserve. :)
it is difference between command from Rasulullah, and recommendation. And Beard is a command from Rasulullah for all men, so the nature of command is obligatory. And recomend such as Sunnah prayer ba'da or qabliyah is sunnah. Example: If your parents order you to shave your beard, you dont do it, because it against the command from Rasulullah, but if your parents call u to help them when you're going to do sunnah prayer, you should obey your parent because it is better for you. Hope its helping.
That is so right bro.. I find it very hypocritical when sisters that where Hijab turn down brothers for marriage becuase they dont like beards, but at the same time they want someone "Religious and practising". They make no sense at all. In my estimation 70% of sister dont like beards
It is a well-known rule among the late scholars of the Shafi`i school that the official, relied-upon position of the Shafi`i school is whatever is determined as such by these two scholars of verification, even if other scholars disagree with them, no matter how high the rank of these disagreeing scholars may be. Whenever Imam Rafi`i and Imam Nawawi disagree, precedence is given to the recensions of Imam Nawawi.
not all of them have big ones...some are tall, some have more manly faces, etc. The point is more that many scholars interpreted the prophet's sayings to mean that it is not allowed to remove the beard if you're a man
salam aleikom i was wondering if its ok to trim down a little like still have a beard but not so long? since im doing surgery rotation it will be hard to have a big beard under the mask and i will fear hair will drop down inside a patient. i hear mixed things about this...
He said he doesn't follow a faith but he researches the ahl al kitaab and islaam. He doesn't know which interpretation to follow, and he is studying how non arab reverts gain interest in and ultimately revert to islam
The role of Imam Rafi`i and Imam Nawawi in the Shafi`i school was to sift through and re-evaluate the various conflicting opinions of the preceding Shafi`is in order to determine the official position of the Shafi`i school.
Jazak Allahu khair for the wishes, I would just like that sisters before they cover themselves learn little about other kinds of "hijab" that's it...i see i raised a lot of buttons here but that's fine...i love you all because to some you are maybe friends but as followers of Allah you are my family :)
"And among the companions of the Prophet (SAW) they would not even look at a man who shaved his beard out of fear they may have desire for him" The beard separates the men from the women!A lion with a beard,a kitten without!Haha love thisss !Subhaan Allah
fyi i dont take any religion but i do a lot of religion research...especially abrahamic faith (judaism, christian and islam)...so i have to read all the scripture...the problem from what i see is when it comes to intepretation...and currently studying how this religion gain followers from other different ethnic group that are not the original audience & listener of this faith
Soubhanallah, i don't know from wich country you are where this is something common. But in holland and of course i can't speak for al sisters but sisters around me including me don't look down to men who have beards. And i think if those sister(s) and brother(s) really believed they wouldn't dare to say something like that what Allah (swt) and the prophet (pbuh) commanded us to wear. May Allah guide us and give al muslims a righteous partner.
And I am quoting all this to protect valid differences in opinion amongst the classical scholars... WHILE I am a hanafi who follows scholars who say it is wajib to grow at least a full-fist beard. It is the general understanding between the 4 schools of thought and I will give my school's example: The Hanafi opinion on any given fiqh issue is right WITH the possibility of being wrong... and the Shafi'i opinion, Maliki opinion, Hanbali opinion is wrong WITH the possibility of being right!
when we see a person with beard, A question come in our mind that he is a person of high level of taqwaa, but this is not 100% true. Huququl Ibad (Rights of human beings) are first priority and then Huququl Allah (Rights of the Creator). Never judge a book by its cover especially a person with beard.
COZ ONLY ALLAH KNOWS WHAT IS IN ONE'S HEART .. 2. IF YOU WANT TO ASSUME SMETHING YOU ASSUME A GOOD AND POSITIVE ONE...FOR REASONS PERTAINING TO GOOD WILL AND SO. YOU DON'T ASSUME SOME ONE HAS THOUGHT SO OR DONE SO FOR SO REASONS, -NEGATIVELY- WHEN THAT PERSON HAS NOT SPOKEN FOR HIMSELF, COZ IF YOUR GUESS IS WRONG, THEN YOU ARE FALSELY ACCUSING HIM OF SOMETHING HE HAS NOT SAID/WANTED/THOUGHT OF..
The prophetic saying were written by scholars who lived at the time of the prophet, taught that to their students that why you wi find what's called Sanad, meaning so and so narrated that so and so narrated up to the prophet. All scholars have to be of certain knowledge, character and trust to narrate a hadeeth ( a prophetic saying).
We have to make sure to identify this is from the Sunnah, therefore one has to believe in the Sunnah to follow it. Also we must distinguish how reliable a particular Hadith/Part of the sunnah is as well. Glad we touched on the deviations with in the Ulama buy why is there any? He should have expanded on that imop. I enjoy many of his speeches
The people who's heart is for ALLAH, he will eventually grown his beard sooner or letter. There is many beard muslim that doesn't even think about halal-haram, hijab of their wife...........I not am judging anybody just giving you the other side.....May ALLAH forgive us..Amin.
Because of their central role in the Shafi`i school, the Shafi`is who came after Nawawi and Rafi`i them gave the two imams the honorific title of “the two shaykhs” (al-shaykhayn). It was mentioned above that both these imams agreed in their recension that to shave or shorten the beard is disliked. Out of deference to their recension, this position was also adopted by the vast majority of late Shafi`i scholars. UNQUOTE
The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) repeatedly instructed the growing of a beard in many narrations, and his own habitual and continuous practice was that of growing a full beard. Thus, the obligation of keeping a beard is clear. Beware of innovation dear brothers and sisters. Salaam.
Brother/Sister i really suggest you disconnect yourself from allowing ads on your videos because all we can see at the beginning of your videos are singers and rappers now is all this effort youre putting in worth wasting by you doing this? it really defeats the whole purpose and for what? 6p an ad.
you didn't understand my point, you don't judge book by its cover, liking someone without beard just because its media portrait of beautiful man is wrong by my account, everyone should give another chance to get to know them, not to judge just by their outside look, i don't have nothing against beardless brothers, its their understanding but i also don't want to be discriminated by sisters because i don't fit in media beauty guy
there is many ways to follow mohamad..growing beard it's just not my thing..but i respect the great man in many other ways such as his treatment towards the poor, blacks and women...cuz back in those days those tree group are badly treated.
im a muslima and I keep my beard, but every now and then I trim the lower part of my beard because it can get unfomfortable at times but always ensure that its thickness always stays the same. Is this an act of wrongdoing and should I change it?
You're a Muslim woman in Islam and keep the beard? Allahuakbar! What do you think is the answer to your question? It's obvious, sister. You shouldn't be keeping a beard.
3. JOKES ABOUT COMMON PEOPLE ARE NOT ALLOWED...JOKING WITH SOME ONE IS ALLOWED WHEATHER YOU KNOW HIM OR NOT. IF THAT PERSON DISLIKES, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY APOLOGIZE IT - YOU ALWAYS MUST HAVE THE GOOD INTENTION ABOUT THE JOKE- NASTY AND FILTHY JOKES ARE ALWAYS FORBIDDEN NO MATTER ABOUT WHO .. WHERE IS THE MAKAM OF OUR SAHABA IN THE ORDINARY PEOPLE'S HEARTS IF THEIR IN SUCH A POSITION YOU CAN SAY FILTHY THINGS ABOUT THEM WHILE CLAIMING DA'EYAH OR WHATEVER YOU CALL URSELF????????????????????????
24 women dislikes this...hahaha I dont mean to be rude, but my brother has a long beard, and all of my family did not like that, thy wanted him to shave it because no woman would accept him.....why would he shave it to impress a woman over obeying Allah; they say he is too young to have a beard??!!!! what dos that mean, he still have lots of years in front of him to obey Allah, but now its too early to be obeying Allah?!! this is not only in my family, but its a society thing :(
I'm not a muslim, but how is it nice to your fellow muslim brothers who can't grow a beard to say that men without beards look like women? How do you think they would feel after hearing that? Also, if the early muslims actually feared getting feelings of desire for a man who shaved his beard, that seems pretty weird. As a heterosexual male, how can you get a desire for a man? The logic that you can't tell the difference between a man without a beard and a woman is bullshit. How could they even tell that it was a man with a shaved beard instead of a woman in the first place? Also, children don't have beards, but you can still tell if they are boys or girls.
+Nuck Chorris Why does that matter? The opinion that men look like women without a beard is still endorsed in this speech. Either men without beards are less manly, or men don't need beards to be considered manly, you can't simply pick one when it's convenient. Basically he's calling his brothers who can't grow a beard less manly, at least, that they look like women.
+Ramon R he's addressing those who can grow it if you heard what he said t the end. Don't worry brother, even sheikh Hussein Lee can't grow a beard. That's fine, if that's how you are
***** He clearly says that the beard is a natural sign of manliness. So either men without beards are 'less manly', or a beard is not needed to be manly. It's one or the other, not both. I'm not a Muslim though, I just think it's weird that he would insult his beardless brothers like that.
if i'm ready to beat up any person who harms any sister on the street, than i just want little respect for the sacrifice i do...i got used to non-muslim seeing brother with beard and commenting check that terrorist out, but when muslimah does it than it is a problem...than it gives credit to non-muslims to say those with beard are extremists and stuff...it is more than just to say i like the brother or not...its more than that and its sad...selam from Bosnia
So your point is, Muslim women shall prioritize Muslims with beard, than Muslims without. .... there must be a reason why they choose the beardless Muslim .. may be his attitude and character, is better than those with beards! besides, not all Muslims agree that beard is Wajib. I personally Don't!
brother if you are a muslim (one who submit to the will of allah) then you must obey everythign the message gives you.. as allah said when ever a decision has been made by allah or his rasul, the believer does no have a say, as true believer will say we hear and we obey. Be that Muslim and its nothing to do with your thing islam mean submission to allah. so until you submit your will to the creator you are not following his teaching.. my advise as a sister please go read the quran understanding
He's accusing the Shafi'i school of deviancy. QUOTE The two great verifying scholars of the Shafi`i school, Imam Abul Qasim al-Rafi`i and Imam Nawawi-in accordance with the position of Imam Ghazali-have ruled that to keep a full beard is merely recommended, not obligatory, and that it is neither unlawful to shave it nor to shorten it, even when this is done without an excuse. It is, however, disliked to shorten or shave the beard because it contravenes the prophetic command to grow a full beard.
You dont have to be that mad, it's a sign that the sister doesn't have much knowledge about the importance of beard for moslem man, If she doesn't even know about that than she doesn't know much about Islam. You wouldn't want a wife that doesn't know much about Islam would you? Than she is not a good one for you.... Its that simple... (though its kind of saddening for me to hear that).. Salam from Indonesian moslema... :)
As to this man saying that the companions wouldn't look at men without beards out of fear of desiring them, he should seek forgiveness from Allah. Shame on you Khalid yaseen!! The companions of the prophet SAW were two righteous to be contaminated by your tongue
those hijabi sisters in the Balkans are married to brothers with full beards (I mean the Men of the Ummah [as opposed to the Males of the Ummah] ... they are truly Men through and through [both inside and outside] ... aren't these the same bearded brothers with their long knives who the 'chetnik' cowards feared so much ... these rats scampered in all directions for cover!) ...may the Cherisher guide all hijabi sisters and all of us (men) in the Ummah to understand our Inner Dimension ...Ameen!
WHEN YOU SAY THAT THE SAHABA WOULD NOT LOOK AT A MAN WITH OUT A BEARD FEARING TO HAVE A DESIRE FOR HIM , HOW DISGUSTING IS THAT ? HOW WOULD SUCH HONOURABLE PEOPLE HAVE SUCH A FILTHY FEELING IN THEM? CAN A MAN LOOK LIKE A WOMAN EVEN WITH OUT BEARD ? ARE THEIR FEATURES THE SAME? HOW IN THE WORLD CAN YOU COME UP WITH SUCH AN STUPID SICK CONCLUSION LIKE THAT ?? YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY YOUR NEIGHBOR, FREIND,CUSIN, OR ANY ONE HAS DONE SO FOR SO ( UNLESS THE PERSON SPOKE FOR HIS HEART)
i love how everyone laughs as soon as he says because they feared that they may feel desire for the man without a beard
what i don't get, we brothers would like to marry sister with hijab but there are some sisters with hijab that say "I don't like beard." ...how that makes any sense...may Allah forbid it is like we brothers say "I don't like hijab." it should be otherwise...i see a lot of sisters in hijab married to guy's without beards and brothers with beards are not married...that is so messed up...inšAllah we brothers will find those who will know why we grow beard and respect us for it...selam

Astagfirullah how can he have the nerve to say such a thing about the sahaba ! And they all laughed when he said it !
What is so wrong with what he said. He's not insulting the companions. Man this guy propberly loves the companions more then you and I do.
+123lesta the name says it all
ali hussain I take it you dont have a beard

Out of deference to their recension, this position was also adopted by the vast majority of late Shafi`i scholars. UNQUOTE
Yes beard is important in islam. Beard is sunnah of Prophets
lets be honest, the reason some muslims don't grow a beard is because their friends don't.
Salaam.
how do you know hijab isnt sunnah??
لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له،له الملك و له الحمد و هو على كل شيء قدير
mashallah may Allah bless him
Brother/Sister i really suggest you disconnect yourself from allowing ads on your videos because all we can see at the beginning of your videos are singers and rappers now is all this effort youre putting in worth wasting by you doing this? it really defeats the whole purpose and for what? 6p an ad.
my brother and my father keeping a beard so I understand what you guys concerned of... :)
What do you mean by , Companiona would desire thay shaved person )) What is going on ?
joke...jst a joke
Awais Javed Go through the story of Prophet LUT pbuh. You will get his point
The biggest obstacles to reversion are arabic jargon and beards!
it more of a cultural thing actually..but as usual a preacher will say it's a must in order to dictated and nurture obidient among the followers
wajib and fardu is the same meaning in the different word brother... salam
you didn't understand my point, you don't judge book by its cover, liking someone without beard just because its media portrait of beautiful man is wrong by my account, everyone should give another chance to get to know them, not to judge just by their outside look, i don't have nothing against beardless brothers, its their understanding but i also don't want to be discriminated by sisters because i don't fit in media beauty guy
there is many ways to follow mohamad..growing beard it's just not my thing..but i respect the great man in many other ways such as his treatment towards the poor, blacks and women...cuz back in those days those tree group are badly treated.
Who said beard isnt from deen?
im a muslima and I keep my beard, but every now and then I trim the lower part of my beard because it can get unfomfortable at times but always ensure that its thickness always stays the same. Is this an act of wrongdoing and should I change it?
You're a Muslim woman in Islam and keep the beard? Allahuakbar! What do you think is the answer to your question? It's obvious, sister. You shouldn't be keeping a beard.
Spell check bro, I'm a Muslim man.
+Sam Barre LOOL 😂😂 at first I thought you're trolling us hahaha
mas bedil dari Indonesia kah??
Subhanallah, im not alone may Allah gives us a perfect ukhty :')
Grow beard, trim and/or shave mustache, simple. Not rocket science. But the Prophet did say take care of it.
24 women dislikes this...hahaha
I dont mean to be rude, but my brother has a long beard, and all of my family did not like that, thy wanted him to shave it because no woman would accept him.....why would he shave it to impress a woman over obeying Allah; they say he is too young to have a beard??!!!! what dos that mean, he still have lots of years in front of him to obey Allah, but now its too early to be obeying Allah?!! this is not only in my family, but its a society thing :(
I'm not a muslim, but how is it nice to your fellow muslim brothers who can't grow a beard to say that men without beards look like women? How do you think they would feel after hearing that? Also, if the early muslims actually feared getting feelings of desire for a man who shaved his beard, that seems pretty weird. As a heterosexual male, how can you get a desire for a man? The logic that you can't tell the difference between a man without a beard and a woman is bullshit. How could they even tell that it was a man with a shaved beard instead of a woman in the first place? Also, children don't have beards, but you can still tell if they are boys or girls.
+Ramon R He said "among the companions" that shows that they are not a majority and that they are very few in number @ 0:53
God bless you Shaikh Khalid.
A man is distinguished by his ability to tell when someone is talking crap. Not only crap but bigoted and misogynist crap.
i'm speaking about Bosnia sister
All prophets had beards, u can trim it but not shave it off
So your point is, Muslim women shall prioritize Muslims with beard, than Muslims without. .... there must be a reason why they choose the beardless Muslim .. may be his attitude and character, is better than those with beards! besides, not all Muslims agree that beard is Wajib. I personally Don't!
brother if you are a muslim (one who submit to the will of allah) then you must obey everythign the message gives you.. as allah said when ever a decision has been made by allah or his rasul, the believer does no have a say, as true believer will say we hear and we obey. Be that Muslim and its nothing to do with your thing islam mean submission to allah. so until you submit your will to the creator you are not following his teaching.. my advise as a sister please go read the quran understanding
that is not always the case with every women
may allah grand you janna
He's accusing the Shafi'i school of deviancy. QUOTE The two great verifying scholars of the Shafi`i school, Imam Abul Qasim al-Rafi`i and Imam Nawawi-in accordance with the position of Imam Ghazali-have ruled that to keep a full beard is merely recommended, not obligatory, and that it is neither unlawful to shave it nor to shorten it, even when this is done without an excuse. It is, however, disliked to shorten or shave the beard because it contravenes the prophetic command to grow a full beard.
khalid yaseen ilove you brother
I somehow smile for your difficulties, please forgive :)
the sin lies in shaving it not in not being able to grow it :)
i guest god give me more times to understand...i've been to long listening to people like richard dawkins...it's not easy for me to except everything
I wish my husband will stop shaving. I have huge respect for my
Fantastic satire!
it seems like the companions had a problem with homosexuality
As to this man saying that the companions wouldn't look at men without beards out of fear of desiring them, he should seek forgiveness from Allah. Shame on you Khalid yaseen!! The companions of the prophet SAW were two righteous to be contaminated by your tongue
good good good sir
wear a beard net, but do not cut or trim your beard at ALL.
those hijabi sisters in the Balkans are married to brothers with full beards (I mean the Men of the Ummah [as opposed to the Males of the Ummah] ... they are truly Men through and through [both inside and outside] ... aren't these the same bearded brothers with their long knives who the 'chetnik' cowards feared so much ... these rats scampered in all directions for cover!) ...may the Cherisher guide all hijabi sisters and all of us (men) in the Ummah to understand our Inner Dimension ...Ameen!
the people being cursed are like drag queens who imitate women, and the female equivalent if it exists I guess
@MrWatchmen759 And it doesnt even look like I will get a beard lol
