@24:17 Why would bleeding cause pain? Maybe the stoma/incision or operation area is painful, but usually the act of bleeding itself isn't really painful. Case-in point, people often bleed and are unaware of it... Unless maybe you are referring to internal bleeding that's trapped in the body and causing compression of some kind? Cheers.
Yes, this example case involved internal post-op pain with hemorrhaging. The hemorrhaging is a complication of the surgery. It is important to code both for the pain so it can be treated in addition to the complication. (Believe me, internal bleeding is painful! I had an ectopic pregnancy 30 years ago with lots of internal bleeding and i still remember it as the most painful experience of my life.)
