Sorry for the late reply but as a Hamilton fan we struggle to get our local populace to come and support the local team. It's easy to go and watch the old firm and Motherwell who are established premier league teams.
I never understood why Hamilton could never be as successful as their neighbouring town Motherwell.

We won the league and another promotion with an artificial pitch. My theory is Motherwell and even Airdrie have been more successful over their histories. We've never won the Scottish Cup or been in Europe. But we've spent 12 years in the top flight since 1986. Ayr have spent zero, Morton one. So not too bad for a club with no fans!
