The second half was such a great scene. They gather around to force her out of grieving and back out into life, but then they realized they need to grieve with her her way. But either way, her friends all gathered around her.
My favorite part of the episode is when Grace got out of bed & knew she has loving friends that are there for her & moving on with her life & the awesome song with Annie Lennox 17 Again
Grace knows how to sell the hell out of a scene and this did not disappoint but I will say I was cringing so hard with all of them being wet laying in her bed!
Bed Bath and Beyond. My favorite episode of this show and any show I have ever watched. I think I’ve seen it 20 times just on its own. Perfect amount of comedy, heartbreak and drama. That end and the music choice is absolutely incredible.

No don't worry about Florida! 😉 It's the Blue States who are for censorship, shutting down the opposition and violating people's 1st amendment! Florida is land of the free and home of the brave! Without tolerance for teaching sex to kids! Which perverts and weirdos of Blue States want to do 😊
psychologically this seems so bad. totally enabling and encouraging very destructive coping mechanisms. supporting is good, but three days without showering, hiding in the bed is self-destructive
Giving someone a literal "cold shower", with 3 ppl restraining the victim, is abusive. No one dies from not taking a shower for three days or staying in bed for three days. Some people's nervous systems actually need physical rest for some days after an EMOTIONAL disaster the person has gone through
@michalinaokrent6672 maybe. but at what point does leaving them alone let them turn their depression into self-destruction? the shower probably not best idea but helping her move on is needed. but the whole show was about all their disfunction and how none of them got help or developed.
@@maikeweige1548Three days in bed is NOT depression (in clinical sense). It can be mourning, as I said earlier, and a way to restore the BODY (I'm someone with a very sensitive nervous system and in a similar situation to what was depicted in this episode, I also had no PHYSICAL energy to do anything, basically as if you have the flu minus the congestion and cough). It took me about two days spent just basically in bed, I even lost any interest in food and I LIKE food (always have been healthy weight but I like cooking and eating good food). I spent some time talking to a good friend over the phone from bed. Was too PHYSICALLY weak to get up. Yes, that"s how some ppl's nervous system works. It's not just having sad or unpleasant thoughts, it's the nervous system burning out with too much "voltage". At another point in my life when I was a teenager and had serious family problems (parent's addiction that adults were not addressing), my nervous system broke down so much (physical symptoms mostly that were not getting better when treated as such), a very wise doctor gave me a YEAR off school! (He didn't know most of my problems were related to my parents). I stayed home from school for 2 months then went back on my own decision, as I felt better surrounded by my peers and felt physically much better by that time. Yes, some ppl suffer physical problems and weakness FROM STRESS and need bed rest like with any other physical ailment and they know themselves when they've gotten better enough to function as usual. It's up to the person. Trust them they know what they need (unless they are a very young child, then naturally you seek pro advice). Noone has ever healed someone else's emotional trauma or physical symptoms from an emotional shock by forcing them into a cold shower. That would nowadays be considered torture. That delicate person's nervous system could be shot dead by that, I mean it could literally cause them to die. If your nervous system is so weak, your chemistry is so bad that you could get a heart attack from another shock and such a shower would be a shock. Let people grieve. You can help by assisting them if they need something, being a confidante. What ppl in such situations need most is to feel understood and to feel they are not alone. They may not want to spend a lot of time with you (with their very low energy - think of how you feel if you suffer from a REALLY bad case of the flu), but they would benefit from being assured they can count on you. As for how the characters in the show "never developed" - that's how sitcoms "live" for many seasons. They're mostly based on the warped dynamics in a group of people. Unfortunately in real life most ppl rarely develop after reaching adulthood, too, so it's kind of based on reality... Ppl often watch such shows to have a katharsis, not just a laugh. And in the case of the better sitcoms you at least get a deeper insight into some social issues or social dynamics
Grace and Will were very dull characters. So much more Will. Thank God for Karen and Jack! They made both Adler and Truman less tiresome by making fun of them.
what does her being straight have anything to do with it? people have "woes" whether they're straight or gay. they were all friends and so it was part of the plot and they played off each other well, when each person had a problem.
One of my favorite episodes. Grace was so heartbroken, but soon realized that she did have plenty of love in her life besides Nathan, love this show.
Finally a version on UA-cam that has the beautiful ending of this episode with the Eurythmics song 😍

That’s real friends and I live in real life they are great friends too
I miss this show so much.
Will & Grace at its creative and emotional peak.
Perfect scene to describe this cadre of friends. They were always there for each other. I miss this show too. ❤
Jack 😂🤣😂... "Relax, I'm a certified nurse."
My favorite part of the episode is when Grace got out of bed & knew she has loving friends that are there for her & moving on with her life & the awesome song with Annie Lennox 17 Again
Karen screaming and laughing at getting her but slapped is gold. So cute.
This had everything - laughs and tears, a huge heart amidst all the jokes.
This was also one of my favorite episodes… funny and heart breaking at the same time. I loved this show so much (still do)
That Annie Lenox background music was a perfect touchpoint for the moment. Great storyline.
I remember seeing this the first time… that last song - Annie Lennox - 17 Again - just perfect.
Yes! The use of that song was truly a stroke of inspirational genius. 👍😊❤🌈
Grace and Nathan together were my favorite couple ever.
this scene is so sad and cute! it shows how much they all love Grace and want to support her and look after her .
A show that can make you laugh and cry within 20 minutes is why this is such a hit❤❤❤❤
How ironic I’m going through a breakup and this episode pops up what a great show nothing good like this anymore 😢
Hope you're ok. Troubles don't last always.
@@phyllissowhat thank u for asking no I’m not ok but I will be one day
Forgot about this episode. And it was the best
i just have to say it, i can't believe she crawled into the bed with those wet clothes on!!!! LOL didn't even try to dry off first!
I feel so sad for all of them and their situations.
Especially Jack ..... for not being recognized as the dancer that he truly is. 😞 😢
Really, the best of friends😊
They don’t make amazing shows like this anymore 😭
Grace knows how to sell the hell out of a scene and this did not disappoint but I will say I was cringing so hard with all of them being wet laying in her bed!
I couldn't help but think of the carpet as she drenched down the hallway! 😂
Easy in my top ten favorite episodes of the show!!!
Best episode ever
My favorite show ever. What a cast!
This episode was so powerful
Are we not going to talk about how her bed was getting wet from everyone?
I sooooo wanted Nathan and Grace to be together 😕❤️
Me too
My favorite episode. 😂
I'm so glad he's gone, Leo is the guy for Grace
Such a wonderful show.
Nathan and Grace should've been endgame🥺❤
8:46 damn Will looks hot in that wet tshirt
Aaaabsolutely.

Love the show ❤❤
I had such a crush on Debra when I used to watch this show. I was a teenager
I know it’s not the point but when she got into bed soaking wet I almost died!
10:42 Jack looking a little like a junior version of the creepy Marine dad from American Beauty with wet hair and clothes.

If this show broadcast today it would be banned in Florida. Love this show, great actors and writers. 💙
Banned in Florida?? Jesus what country is that???

God Will was so hot
Wooodys such a fox.
This is what we called wet dreaming 😂
❤
EMBARRASSING...
I don't blame Nathan running for the hills...Grace was annoying and desperate 🙄
What the heck they Will and Jack were using soap on Grace's clothes . What was the point of making her soaking wet when she isn't feeling to good
to wake her up out of her funk
to wake her up out of her funk
Need videos of Jack in the gay network
Messed up Debra is so neurotic I don't understand the humor in that. It's sad not funny
I,m surprised that Grace laid in bed with her clothes soaking wet like that.

Grace and her heterosexual problems and woes were such a downpoint of the show.
Grace and Will were very dull characters. So much more Will.

It isn’t that she is heterosexual. She is just needy and self-obsessed like Carrie in SITC
