I used to have the pic my dad had taken with him showin a crappie with his pepsi can and joked to his buddies this is what you catch at Reelfoot compared to the ones we caught in Paris lol again so glad Reelfoot has come a long way and again thank you for that memory!!!

Rod is the man. Second best person to fish with, the first being me! 😂 That location is a great place to fish starting pre spawn till September. Heading close to there tomorrow to shoot a prespawn show. Great show man and Rod did a great job. By the way, there are gators in that lake and eagles as well! Keep the shows coming!!!

So glad I came across your channel and I about teared up when you held your Sprite can up to that slab. Growing up my dad would always go to Reelfoot with his church buddies and caught decent sized crappie but then he turned to Mansard Island in Paris Tn and caught huge ones and would always show the pics to his buddies lol I am so glad Reelfoot made a turn around. Thank you again for doing that brought many memories of my father and I down in Tennessee!!!

I bought a boat from a guy who lived on Palestine. I had to take her for a test run before going home. I just happen to have a rod in the truck so I decided to wet a line. I caught 18 crappie in a hour and half. I had to get off the lake before it got pitch black. I had not fished the lake in 23 years.
I can’t wait to go back!
