hukae brainiac is insane
i enjoyed all of them but kaifu's was the only one that really caught my attention
This comp absolutely packed up, but Mr. Freeman hits the deeeeeeeep

SECOND RATE totally grew on me in matter of minutes, I didn't feel the energy of that track at all at the first listen, so I replayed the comp again and I just got chills from that one, KAIFU is a genius
I swear it just gets better with each subsequent listen

Kaifus use of percussion in that track is some of the best I’ve ever heard in tearout ever

@@Nawtystep Reviews that are more scripted are Always pretty cool. The Must die! crisis Vision one as an example. Also really nice are the Topic based Videos like the Skrillex ID one or the Zomboy (idk?) one.

@@Nawtystep Its definitely up there for his tearout tunes for sure. STVG/Nimda/DLION scratch that tearout itch perfectly for me.
@@NawtystepI love STVG aswell but I'd say this one isn't as mindblowing as Angst, Sorry Sight or Iron Lung are to name a few out of he's recent releases. It has that fresh sound design that noone else does and I especially love those build up interruptions but overall it lacks that originality or multiple drop ideas that the ones I mentioned have. There are some tunes in his 2024 mix that make me go fucking crazy and this one doesn't have that effect on me as much. Not even close to a bad stvg tune but not his best either imo

just finished the comp and for a first time malignant listener i was thoroughly impressed with so much of this compilation
one of the best ‘heavy’ compilations i’ve ever heard

Came through with yet another madness ❤️🔥
i didn't particularly enjoy this comp. a lot of things that just fell flat idea-wise.there are still some very good tracks on show here, but overall i feel like i'd need more time to get accustomed to some of these (especially STVG's cut, it quickly devolved into meaningless noise for me first listen). best track bar-none has to be SECOND RATE, good lord it's like that sustain has a mind of its own. so inventive, extremely well executed, something i'd fs come back to.

Whole comp was solid but Nimda, STVG and eugene carried this heavy for me

Well, a lot of Riddim does go for the exact same structure and layout. But you can say that for other styles of music as well ofc

Riddim is oversaturated garbage , we need the 2010-2019 tubes back and to evolve
Can you expand on this? Coz obviously it isn’t exactly the same, so just interested which bits you mean in particular
@@Nawtystep I think he just means the repetitive nature of it as a whole and it narrowing down the creativity module a lot. My example would be Excision now personally , just doesn’t seem like he tries much anymore with how riddim influenced religiously his stuff is the past years. I’ve seen an artist on UA-cam breakdown “Zombie” and basically he remade the whole song in 15 minutes lol

Chibs track was my favorite off of this one.
What did you enjoy about it in particular? Some incredible sounds on show for sure
@@Nawtystep I really enjoyed the intro as well as that very glitchy drop which I’m not sure you could consider the 2nd drop but simply a change in sound design during the first drop. It had that very 2018/2020 sound to it that people like Sora and Bonkers were playing out live back then. Also I commented this on instagram and didn’t get a response but I was wondering what you thought about Dr.Ozi’s other new track serpents which wasn’t included on any singles reviews etc.

Nimda and STVG chune are stars of this compilation and represend of malignant music, other song dont belong there.

Saying the others don’t belong here is kinda a stretch, marauda has been embracing riddim more and I’ve seen it at his shows. It doesn’t hurt to be diverse
@@Nawtystep Malignant represent evil, hard and tearout tunes, only like that was nimda and stvg tunes, thats what i think.Other people think the same.Marauda should include his song but he is not.
@@zylent8251this is a really enclosed opinion, riddim is dark. i can agree that some songs dont really match maraudas dark energy but they belong in the dark category of bass music.
@@zylent8251also in your statement you’re completely disregarding sisto, kaifu, and eugene. imo those are the most darkest songs in the track. even if you might not enjoy their styles, you have to acknowledge that they bring dark energy. energy that comes on par with marauda. (marauda is my fav artist haha)
