Question. Is this deck the best version possible for Live Twins? I want to make the most consistent deck for this archetype. Or would there be a hybrid deck that would be better?
@@flydd5480 the sidedeck is a 15 card list of cards you switch in for some of your maindeck cards to better prepare you for games 2 and 3 of a typical set.
Awesome video! What do you think about Small World in Twin? I like that you can search for your starters or turn starters into the handtraps you need for the matchup, have you tried it?
Congrats on your performance! The mistaken arrest is defo a tech I'm going to be stealing, never seriously considered it. Whenever I see a twin list, as a long time twin player I always feel the need to ask, is challenge a card that ever crosses your mind? I feel that having that as a searchable answer to disruption or as another must respect card puts the deck on a different level. Another option for the link 4 slot is knightmare gryphon, being able to reset a card like imperm, challenge, cyclone, arrest etc can be something some players might value
Thanks! I have played challenge in the past, and its a good card... The issue is when you open it and it does nothing without a twin, its an additional brick, so I chose not to play it at this event.
@@TopTierGamingYGO that’s fair. I find the deck consistent enough that I don’t mind having the potential for a second brick an issue, but with how much of this format is turn stop after turn stop i wouldn’t blame anyone for not running it
@@sora6365 I chose not to play droll for many reasons. 1. Droll is weird in twins because drawing it off kisikil is awkward and it actually hinders your own draws on the opponents turn. 2. It lets them get the initial search while mistaken arrest does not. 3. Vs floowandereeze (the main reason the card was sided in the first place) if they activate D shifter, you can't even activate droll... and the card you thought was a blowout is just useless. Mistaken arrest doesn't have this problem. 4. Vs floowandereeze, mistaken arrest shuts them down for 2 turns and droll only lasts one... if you are even able to use it vs them. As a blow out vs floowandereeze it wasn't even a comparison in my list.
Its not near as blowout in the flunder match as mistaken arrest works for 2 turns. In the flunder match if they use d shifter. You can't even activate droll. Droll is also weird with both frost and kisikil. If you draw it mid turn, its often dead, and if you use it at the start, then you often miss out on 2 draws. Mistaken arrest also has the benefit of stopping the very first search your opponent does, which can often be the most important.
@@TopTierGamingYGO got it , plus droll and lock can stop by called or gamma , 100% gonna main Mistaken Arrest if maxx c get ban in master duel or might even switch it already for the fun of it so thanks for the recommendation .
Its really hard to do a combo video for twins, as there isn't an actual combo haha. I maybe can do a hand test video, but more than likely I will just upload gameplay because that will show everything you need for a combo and more.
man the hand traps are so toxic it completely removes skill expression out of game. Its sad really because its why i quit, and now people are running like 9-15 of them lols. its just so boring and makes like 500 rogue decks shit because of how easily they can be stopped so everyone runs the same coookie cutter decks loaded with hand traps.
On the contrary, imo, rogue decks can only exist because of hand traps. They are the only thing that can slow down the sheer power the meta decks have. And they don't really take the skill out of the game either. If anything they add more by forcing you to adjust your combo lines to play around them. This is just the way the game is now. And I'm a 2008 player. I remember the days of set Phoenix wing wind blast and judgement. There isn't much counter play to those traps either. At least not any more than hand traps which are much easier to play through than brute forcing a torrential tribute.
Love how you build different than most other deck builders. Also I appreciate how you explain how to handle different deck match ups!

Really nice decklist
Congrats for the result!
I know I'm late but I cant find any pure twin builds (I dont have money for spright) but is there anything twins would need nowadays?
congrats but danm that's expensive deck bro
16 hand traps jesus fucking christ, and thats not including 2x forbidden droplet and 3x crossout designator. 21 non-engine cards

I think it would be interesting since you can use small world to get rid of extra starters in your hand
How do you stop this deck?
Do you go first or second with this deck?
First
If opp uses ash blossom and i negate with called by.. can I use talents after or does the ash activation being negated not count?
You can still use it
Called by doesnt negate activation
Go on then. How much did all this cost?

if you end your opponents turn with 2 twins, a normal summon lets you make abomination and trouble sunny which is 8500 damage
