Just catching up on some of your videos. I think the mantle vase is called a Rose Bowl. I hauled a glass one from a charity shop for £2.00 - I love it. I think tea lights will look lovely in the tulip glasses. A tip for drooping tulips... always prick the stem, 1cm below the flower and that will stop the tulips drooping. Such great prices! It’s nice when you can pick up useful things at cheap prices. There is a cheeky charity shop near me that when there’s a original price, they reduce it by half. Unfortunately this means I rarely get a 50p bargain. Love your videos on a Saturday morning with a coffee 😊

I live in Carlisle Cumbria England and I have over 20charity shops near me, I brought x1 hardback book x4 paperback books all new for from my local hospice charity shop " Peter James books sell well.
I also got cutlery & fishes from my local charity shop's

The apple chopping board would make a great clock. If you find a cheap clock in a charity shop, take the mechanism out and attach it to the board. You can write numbers on the "apple clock" or use a Cricut or some Poundland stickers.

Hi Kate i read an article b4 that if you put a pin hole in the base of your tulip at the top of the stem its supposed to stop them from drooping..🙂

Lovely bargains, Kate, but when you held up that gorgeous handbag, I thought "WOW"! Plenty of space for all your bits and pieces and just perfect for spring and summer. Love it! PS In Scotland a big oval serving plate like that one is called an "ashet". Strange word, which comes from the French "assiete" meaning plate. Long ago Scotland and France were best buddies and had a close relationship.

Hi Kate, I enjoy your charity shop hauls, there is always so much fun in finding treasure, even if it is somebody else's treasure. The big platter was made in Japan, the name Royal Meissen might make people think it is from the expensive German fine china manufacturer Meissen but it isn't. That doesn't make it less pretty or worthless, it is just not the original. Enjoy it and show us more treasures as you find them.

Hi Kate its Julie from the potteries in Staffordshire 👍 i think the dish is German, it could be quite expensive,,,i had another Emma Bridgewater bargain last week i bought a spotty coco mug for 99p from a charity shop in Litchfield for myself I don't buy to sell on but they're being sold for £25 or there abouts,,, i have all my clothes costd ect from the charity shops i also recycle furniture for my home, i just love the vintage shabby chic look, thanks for your vlog i always look forward to seeing you and them on Friday ❣️🥶🎉💕

Love the pink Tulips in the background. They are my favorite flower. Unfortunately they don't do well or last for long as a cut flower in the part of Aus I live in as it is usually too warm. I would use the (chopping) board as a platter for serving nibblies. The glass bowls are definitely tea light holders. A glass for growing bulbs would be a lot taller to allow the roots to grow. As usual you did so well at the charity shops. The serving platter was a fantastic find. I'm sure it would be worth quite a bit- well a whole lot more than 50p. While I think it is now made in Japan I'm fairly sure at one time in the distant past it was made in Germany. Love the bag- my favorite item.

Hi Kate! Love this haul and very jealous of the fact most of it was only 50p! I think are those green pots are for tea lights, but then you could use them any way you want I guess! Love that vase!! such a barg for 50p too. That large plate is amazing I love it! The bag is awesome for £3 as is the M&S scarf, ooh and that frame too was lovely and look great with a wedding photo in I agree. Basically I think i ike it all especially for the prices you paid!
