hahah, thanks :) Things get funky with this one on my skin. I do get the same thing with perfumes that feature grapefruit or cumin, they smell like sweat to me ;D

A fragrance should never make you feel self-conscious (this is coming from someone who feels self-conscious most of the time 😉). I have to admit that all of the notes scream: this is me (especially juniper that I love), but I haven’t had the chance to try it so far.

Yeah, fargarnces are for rather different purposes, aren't they? Well, as I sai, I can see it's been really highly regerded among people, therefore, Ithink, there is a high chance of you enjoying it. Thanks for the comment, Andreas.

Can't remember if I've tried this one or not, but I think I know what you mean by that terpenic astringency from cypress, especially when it's combined with citrus. I often get it in Encre Noire a l'Extreme and Issey Miyake's L'eau Bleue d'Issey. Originally, it reminded me of certain acetates before I became familiar with the pinenes (the main constituents of turpentine). Certainly not a fan if they're overdone. 🎄 Appreciate your impressions! 💗

Cypress and some similar plants can be really nasty. That's interesting, I absolutely don'y get that in a l"extreme.
