How I Use TOMBOW BRUSH PENS - negative space sketches + DRAW WITH ME birds edition + swatching

Come join me as I swatch my collection of Tombow brush pens on cream paper in a Royal Talens Art Creations sketchbook and on ivory paper in a Seawhite of Brighton sketchbook. Next, I use these versatile brush pens to create negative space drawings as I draw in an Odd Orange zoom session in an Art Gecko sketchbook and then you can draw a bird with me in real time. Plus, a few tips on using these materials along the way! Enjoy!

I loved seeing the bird process arty :) I still don't like my posca pencils but maybe I should give them another chance. I also really loved the negative space drawings you did for odd orange session - especially how you broke the frame! Thanks for the shoutout too!

OOOOOH FUN! I love how you went outside the border with the water around the swans! And I love the pomegranate one especially!You know what I love best about those Tombow markers? You can blend them out with water so you can get really smooth gradients, washes of color, and get the marker lines out! I'm going to assume you can do it with those Ecoline ones too, but I don't own any. They're watercolor markers too tho right? I also have the Kuretake Clean color Zig watercolor markers that do the same thing so I'll have to wait on buying those Ecoline ones to try.................maybe. I might just have to try some....

Thanks so much for watching! Yes, I love that the markers are water soluble, but I generally don't use water with them because I like the textured feel of it. And I've got watercolour pencils that I prefer to use with water in sketchbooks... Have you seen my previous video on those? Yup, can do it with Ecoline too but only have the one!
