Absolute MVPs. Saved me a ton of money on top case replacement. I was really scared to clip the key out, but it worked out fine. I just cleaned up some tiny piece of dirt under the switch and my enter key is as good as new.

I tried this but the return key has lost its "spring"... it's permanently low. It takes a key press, just. I ordered replacement Return key set from yourselves, replaced the two mechanisms and key front, but it's the same. Any ideas? What gives the key its spring? I've cleaned it with IPA

My enter key is kinda stuck down. I spilled something on the keyboard a couple of weeks ago, and since then it's been a bit sticky. Since trying to fix it by removing the cap and cleaning with some distilled water and a swab, it's lost all "spring". If anyone has any suggestion, I'd be grateful!

with macbook air m1 2020 you cannot leave the metal part down cause the speaker(magnet) is mangetizing

​@@prackertracker7189 i pressed it with the metal ready to be attached in an angle. You can either lift it on the side and use a mini vacuum as well.
Be super careful and patient

I regretted buying this device over and over again. Nothing behaves like this on my macbook pro. It doesnt click it bends it doesnt move up or slide in any way. All it does is it bends outwards and then you look at it thinking how chinese is this? I actually started looking at solely chinese products because atp they say hey look at pathetic apple. We can literally do the same for the fraction of the price.
