i don't take league as seriously as i used to and it's a shame, i love your content and how you make these concepts accessible for a lot of people. lots of small things people still don't do even at higher elos (like killing minions with the first ability of the trade to surprise opponent etc)
You missed out on a key mechanic they’re using where they make sure their E stuns the wave to reset agro so when the trade ends they aren’t taking minion damage on the way out.
he actually said that he wanted Ren to attack him so the blue minion Aggro Ren then the cannon would make it to the turret ,obviously the Cannon didn't make it , then he said 'unlucky , and said it was a bad trade.

I want to make a transition to mid lane from ADC but I usually get out traded or showed under tower all the time. Is there an tips on how to win lane and roam well. I prefer playing roaming champs like TF, Galio or Ryze. This video had really great insight on playing as Jax, thank you for that.
it's difficult to say who played it better considering on one clip the enemy ganked while on the other the ally did but XNB did a better job at crashing the wave into the tower(the ward that Breathe putted may have messed up his momentum there)

2000LP player played way better, as a renekton main who has played this matchup many times in high elo jax is trolling if he does not zone renek from XP at level 1, since jax wins hard with E and renekton has no way to counterplay. jax also should never start doran's shield when you can just go corrupting pot, especially vs renek. After securing an XP lead, it's extremely easy to just slow push and zone renekton with Q. Very jax favored matchup since he outscales as well.
Jax main here, Corrupting pot is weak not only do u miss out on free stats health and the dshield sustain passive is 10x better than corrupt pot only reason jax players used to get it was mana issues which buiscut solves. Dorans blade is not optimal vs renek as you can never all in a good renek instead he will constantly poke and disengage so dshield counters it basically same reason he went grasp instead of lethal. Zoning from xp is unnessesary as it means tha jax himself would lose the gold from last hits while hes busy chasing renek and many times the renek if hes good can get the xp anyways at the price of some hp. But it is definitely done a lot by tf blade and r1 chinese jax tho ive seen lots of jax players try to immitate them and fail miserably taking too much damage level 1 and denying nothing

Doran's shield is not needed in the matchup because usually renekton is too weak to trade without fury.

Get dshield and trade autos dont be afraid of losing trades so long as you dont get all ined or allow a cheat recall you win through regen chances are he took ignite since tp is trash now hes stuck in lane with no hp gankable and you widdle him down and force a bad recall or kill him if he ego stays. Like I said tho you have to be the better player toplane is all about tethering wave management and mechanics and since your playing a bruiser confidence is everything.

If there was extended trades it might even be better, but against a renecton the trades are fast and you can't stack it if the Rene plays it correctly which is assumed in high elo
