What is the beginner cpm when you finish training? Did they say how much 1st year dry van & flatbed make on average(I know it depends on how you run)? It's so mysterious...
My cpm starting out is .56, but I know people that have been hired after me starting out at more so idk anymore. They give you a broad income potential just because so many people make different income. You can make like $50,000 or as much as like $70,000 in your first year. Most people I've asked, they said they made around $60,000 on average their first year.
Hey bro, all is well! Out with the trainer and enjoying this learning experience. Will make a video once I have completed this phase, be looking for it near end of this month/beginning of November!
@@jerzeywolf76 phase 1(cld training) its like $615ish, phase 2 (out with trainer) it's $112 a day that you work at least 6 hours. Phase 3 (you're on your own) it's whatever cpm they promised you! Hope that helps!
Hopefully you get a trainer soon. I got mine only after a week waiting. Sounds like we started the same time. Sharing the truck isn’t bad at all. At least not for me so far haha. Just got to get it done and suck it up. Good luck!
Thanks for the vids, I've only had my physical with Roehl so far. Planning to take my permit test mid November. Can you recommend any training apps/websites you used? Congrats on getting er done!
@@rcandba well, you have done a good job of helping me believe I have very little to worry about, I was jus curious. They have told me that do everything they can to get everyone through (unless there’s an attitude issue). I made it thru college and dental school not to mention dental boards, it’s jus been a lil while since I had to jump thru any hoops-actually looking forward to the challenge. I retired from dentistry after 30 years and trucking is something that was always in the back of my mind, so here I am. Please keep your channel going. I hope to be out there trading stories with you soon.
@@davidbrown6026 oh ya boss, with the stuff you've done and been through, this will be a cake walk for you! The instructors do a really good job doing everything in there power to get you through. I think that the only way someone can fail is if they go into it with a negative attitude or a arrogant attitude and aren't teachable.
9:40 They pay half of the $112

Did all of your classmates pass the CDL test? And if any didn’t, they probably did not get paid for phase one, correct?
You’d be a great trainer, I can tell. I’m a vet too (navy corpsman)77 to 83
Yes all of my classmates passed, everyone that I met there passed, so I'm not sure what happens if you fail, I will try to find that out.
