HIV literally did not effect Magic whatsoever. He was literally 2nd in MVP voting behind Jordan while he still had the desease the year he retired, and he met the Bulls in the finals. He was only 32 and CLEARLY the 2nd best player in the world
Larry didn't have enough money. He saved for a whole year. Didn't have the clothes. He went through a lot. He still excelled. He went 33 and 0 his senior year before losing to Michigan state. Now that game when Magic did the hook shot mchale was playing with a broken foot and he said he couldn't go to his left and that was why he couldn't stop magic. There are so many reasons that a game is won or lost. It was awesome watch bird and Magic. Yes Larry did awesome as usual and trash talked too lol! Larry always rose to the occasion. You can watch a video called bird and magic dropping dimes at the Olympics
I love when men are confident enough, to show emotions 💖💖💖 This really touched my heart & as always, this documentary brings on the tears.....I have so much respect for both Magic & Larry, and IMO, these 2 will always be the GOATS in my heart 💖💖I💖
Every player in the NBA owes an enormous debt of gratitude to these two men of class, integrity, competitiveness and love for the game. They built that Empire they're currently tearing down & it's sad. I have to agree with most people that say that this is the greatest documentary because it speaks to so much more than just hoops.
There is no current NBA without these two...anyone that has signed a contract in the last 40 years should kick 1/10 of 1 percent of it to Larry and Magic's favorite charities
Bird was in crippling pain for half of his career and was still dominant. The only time he missed really was in 88/89 when he was out for surgery. Magic proved HIV wasn't a death sentence and that he was still one of the best in the world. Together they dominated the 80's saved the NBA and set the stage for every superstar that came after. They were some of the first big rookie contracts, earliest endorsement deals and if you can excuse Magic getting caught with his pants down or Larry's occasional bar fight, great role models on and off the court.
Why would you say what you said about this picture? IT WAS A PICTURE OF THE PROM KING AND QUEEN! The King was black, and the Queen was white. No one cared!!! They were the most popular kids in school - no matter their skin color. We didn't care about the color of someone's skin! Grow up and stop living in this woke culture. We were all friends, no matter our skin color.
What they don't say about Larry after he is hurt with those Achilles and back surgeries he still was averaging almost a triple double. He is a floor general he could do whatever he wanted. He was versatile he could fill any plug in a team.
About your comment about fixed games...sadly it looks like they don't even bother to hide it anymore. This was really noticeable starting around late 90's/early 2K
I appreciate your respect 4 bird and the past. Keep it up please. The story of then leads to now... a way was paved, 40s to 50s, 50s to 60s, 70s to 80s, 80s to 90s, 90s to millennium. And beyond
Nothing on the Celtics team was effing fixed. Back in those days, our players had good morals and values. Larry was too good a man to throw or win a game for money.
Here in Colorado you could drink at 18, but it had to be 3.2% beer. You were not allowed to drink full strength beer or hard alcohol. But underage drinking happened everywhere.
I recently found out that we weren’t the only state!! That was the secret test for being Actually There 😂 What a scam to sell twice as much coors swill. Friday after school: Ahoy, Wyoming! 😂
Oh oh! Here I go again! When I was in Viet Nam, in one of the letters I received from my mother, she included a voter registration form because they were changing the voting age. As the song goes, "You're old enough to kill, but not for votin' ". A great song by Barry McGuire. Most of what he sang about is still happening today, "You can hate your neighbor, but don't forget to say Grace!"
Oh how times have changed.. like you correctly stated, families were MUCH larger back then.. 6, 7, 8 even more kids were common.. with only 1 bread winner as well.. nowadays, forget about it. My kids couldn't think about affording additions to their families having 2 jobs.. EACH!!!
59:49 they hand rolled t0bacco or cigarettes back then….the um “object your thought was being smoked” wouldn’t even have been on camera except in a movie back then because you are watching LIVE CLIPS in a “movie” but at this time we STILL HAVE MEN SERVING TIME FOR WHAT IS NOW LEGAL….well except here where I am unless medical and even that is a hot mess. But no that wasn’t what YOU THOUGHT was being smoked…..around Magic…..
Great story 😊 We had drive through bars when I was in high school. I think they should lower the drinking age to 18 because if you’re old enough to die for your country, you should be able to have a beer first. 🤷♀️ Birth control wasn’t available. Families had a lot of kids because of that.
Bird playing against rodman in regular season averaged 24.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.9 assists. in playoffs Bird averaged 20.9 points, 9.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists. rodman's stats against Bird regular season 10.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists, post season 6.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists guess that says it all. No wonder Rodman's jealous
I was 18 Years old and then they passed the Law that next year. And even though I was 18 Years old and my friend was 6 months younger than me and he wasn't able to buy it but I could. Because anyone who was already 18 Years old then I fell in the Grandfather Clause. If you're old enough to Fight and Die for your country then you should be able to drink when you're 18 as long as your responsible.
I agree, as long as you are responsible enough to not get drunk and drive. That's the reason they raised the drinking age in our state. Too many young people were killing themselves and others.
idk if youre the same person from years ago but i belive we played cod aw a bunch together back in the day. back when you were " Tommy Stackionz" still got you added on xbox. just randomly thought id see if you were still doing youtube. if you are the same person i belive you had a kid, how are they?
He had to switch someone else who was the best player on their team. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar wore that number 33 and has been retired from the Lakers or Faker's how ever you want to call them.
i am glad you did this as always your great (BUT BUT BUT BUT) No more 1 3/4 hour videos do them in at least 3 segments you spent 5 minutes wanting to know legal limit for drinking?? you caused me to go have a few drinks which i enjoyed i must admit .
I don't condone drinking, smoking or pot, although I smoke cigs and pot, but I was in Viet Nam at 18 years old. I was old enough to die in my countries military, but not mature enough to make decisions. Decide not to drink, smoke or smoke😊!
Look it up son, it’s called a zoonotic spillover. The SARS-CoV-2 evolved into COVID-19 and the most likely source of this is bats. Although they eat bats in China, there is no direct evidence of a leak from a lab; it’s already been declassified. The Wuhan virus is from bats 👍🏽
Back then ur kids were from the same parents.... not kids used for income.... a time lost to this..... one mom, 5 kids, 5 dads... get a job you.........
Just trying to help you. I don’t normally say much to ANYONE PERIOD but I don’t want you not to succeed at this…..but glad you stopped abruptly on the superbowl comments…….. seriously…..all I can say…..
In my opinion...this is the best sports documentary of all time. 1992 Dream Team is pretty awesome too.
Yeah I see it as a continuation of Bird and Magic story. Showing how many great basketball players we had during the 80s & early 90's.
2nd the Dream Team documentary-definitely deserves a reaction.
Muhammad Ali the greatest and George Foreman is right up there for me but this one is definitely top 3
In 78 the drinking age went from 18 to 19 then in 1980ish - it went to 21.
HIV literally did not effect Magic whatsoever. He was literally 2nd in MVP voting behind Jordan while he still had the desease the year he retired, and he met the Bulls in the finals. He was only 32 and CLEARLY the 2nd best player in the world
I used to watch Larry do yard work! 😂
Two GOAt's of the game.
Fair play to you for doing it in one hit and not putting it in parts. Probably the best documentary I’ve seen.
I have a video that Larry broke a finger in a bar fight rigjt before that game. He was hush hush about it.
I love when men are confident enough, to show emotions 💖💖💖 This really touched my heart & as always, this documentary brings on the tears.....I have so much respect for both Magic & Larry, and IMO, these 2 will always be the GOATS in my heart 💖💖I💖

This is awesome! I didn't expect you'd keep it all as one part. I'm looking forward to checking this out!
I prefer the entire reaction in one video.
There is no current NBA without these two...anyone that has signed a contract in the last 40 years should kick 1/10 of 1 percent of it to Larry and Magic's favorite charities
👉TRUTH
Two of the best to ever do it and in my opinion one of the best documentaries of all time
Bird was in crippling pain for half of his career and was still dominant. The only time he missed really was in 88/89 when he was out for surgery. I think that photo is the dance between the prom king and the prom queen. I'm not sure they were necessarily together.
Why would you say what you said about this picture? IT WAS A PICTURE OF THE PROM KING AND QUEEN! The King was black, and the Queen was white. No one cared!!! That is what I was thinking, too.
What they don't say about Larry after he is hurt with those Achilles and back surgeries he still was averaging almost a triple double. He is a floor general he could do whatever he wanted. He was versatile he could fill any plug in a team.

FACTS!!!!! People used to get punished too but now no one is even getting accused except by viewers 💀
You should pause the video when you talk because you miss out on key things the people are talking about which is essential to the story being told.
Dude edit out the Google regarding drinking age. It brings your video to a standstill after it was establishing a flow.
Legal drinking age is decided by the state ...so it depends on what state you live in!
You're right about Isaiah. That's why he wasn't selected for the Dream Team. Other top players didn't want him there.
I appreciate your respect 4 bird and the past. Keep it up please. The story of then leads to now... a way was paved, 40s to 50s, 50s to 60s, 70s to 80s, 80s to 90s, 90s to millennium. And beyond

Magic was 6'7 6'8 ish in high school
Gyyyaaaattttttt

Good vid. Thank you.
Thank YOU 🙂
Every single player on the 1992 Dream Team became Hall of Famers!
Oh how times have changed.. like you correctly stated, families were MUCH larger back then.. 6, 7, 8 even more kids were common.. with only 1 bread winner as well.. nowadays, forget about it. My kids couldn't think about affording additions to their families having 2 jobs.. EACH!!!
These games are fixed!
Source: trust me bro
lol; u r a fool
Back then ALOT and I mean EVERYTHING WAS DIFFERENT…….
No the fights weren't like that in Lansing at the time! 🙄
Worse...the Irish mob
Big Bird is the greatest all-around player the game has seen.
Look dude, Magic never had AIDS. He was paid very handsomely to say so. You gotta love the guy. He's genuine.
great reaction cheers;
best not to share your date of birth online though.
It changed the year I turned 18.
18 you could drink before they changed it to 21

No THIS PARTICULAR GAME wasn’t fixed…..score maybe but not the win 1:03:10
He had to switch someone else who was the best player on their team. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar wore that number 33 and has been retired from the Lakers or Faker's how ever you want to call them.
Fakers 😂😭😂😂

I'm an old Celtic fan and like Bird, I'm color blind. I only see Celic green and NBA gray.
If you can be drafted for the military at the age of 18 and possibly die for your country you should have the right to vote
I can understand that for sure but 18yo are the reason Biden is in office now💀
Great parenting ...... ur brother needed to deal. U r there when it goes wrong
