- don't need to wear suncream when i'm throwing all of this shade your way. this is the first song i've written in ages that isn't a break up song (can you say progress). i know it's like a "friend break up" song, but we're getting there.

The chorus started to ring true, and I started to nod my head along to the beat & kind of smiled because I realized I wasn't the only one going through something like this. (sounds cliché, I know, whoops)
When I got to the bridge, I had to pause it for a moment:

I had completely forgotten every warning people had given me. They told me he'd grow attached, they told me how he'd act. I payed it no mind, because I like to look on the bright side and see the better in people.
