  • If you are tuned into finding a direct farmer to grow and raise your food differently than the standard system, you may hear a lot about grasslands and pasture management. However, at our farm we also manage around 100 acres of woodlands to help us raise livestock. We work with the land, grass or tree covered, to promote a healthy environment for our animals, wildlife, and the land. It's not the perfect system, but with the support from the people we feed, improvements continue to be found and made along our farming journey.

Your farm is a perfect example of how to do things right! Most animals raised for food will never enjoy a pasture or see a big blue sky. I love that you have considered not only the health and well being of the animals, but the land, and the lives of the woodland creatures too. Thanks for all you do.
