A friend of mine from way back when actually thought SC4 was canon to the Star Wars universe and thought the Death Star was powered by Soul Calibur and Soul Edge XD
well i remember this one old sc4 cosplay video where all the people were dressed up as the characters and they were like pretend fighting but then algol shows up and defeats everyone but the all of a sudden the imperial march theme plays and darth vader freaking appears and beats algol and then takes both the swords
You know what would of made this scene only about 10,000 times better? Three Star Destroyers beginning to descend through the clouds as the camera pans out on Vader.
I love how the swords are based around the magical properties of a single world, and yet vader deems them powerful enough to make a difference in the empire
Now replace Algol with Thanos. Imagine Vader wielding the power of the Infinity Gauntlet. First thing he'd do is use the Time Stone to restore his body to before he was burned on Mustafar, likely the next order of business would be disposing of Palpatine and installing a new puppet Emperor. Then once he got used to the power the stones give him use the Reality Stone in combination with the Soul Stone to bring back Padme. Needless to say, the Rebellion would be screwed.
@@abstraction6212 Perhaps, perhaps not. Gonna say I wrote that when I had my Darth Vader minifig holding the gauntlet and got me inspired. Comic Thanos does have a few flaws that Vader can exploit. Thanos on a subconscious level knows he doesn't deserve the power he wields and intentionally sabotages himself. Another is that his ego is quite massive and prone to both cockiness and arrogance.
@@jmoney-z5561 Vader's not the type of person to lead. He'd make a terrible emperor. He's more of a "lead from the frontlines" type of person. He doesn't have the patience for politics and the internal bureaucracy.
